Its scenic, park-like setting is covered with trees and waterfalls providing a peaceful retreat. Stan State offers an all-encompassing experience: safe, friendly, personalized attention and a solid, reputable degree. Stan State is a wonderful option for students who want to study in an environment that is conducive to learning, with easy access to attentive faculty and supportive staff. At Stan State, our classes are small, our campus is safe and our student services are abundant. We are centrally located between all of the major attractions (Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe, Monterey Bay, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley and San Francisco) but with a lower cost of living. The campus is located in the charming city of Turlock, which enjoys a year-round mild climate. It has an average high temperature of 75°F (24°C) and an average low temperature of 51°F (11°C).
