Anil: Hey, this is Anil Anwar , and I am interviewing Martha Boneta, founder of the Piedmont Agriculture Academy (PAA) Liberty Hall Livestock Rescue and has been on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Independent Consumer & Farmers Association (VICFA), Small Family Farm Foundation (SFFF) and has represented the Farm to Consumer Legal Foundation (FTCLF) advocating legislation and is a strong supporter of the Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild and several other farm advocacy organizations. Martha Boneta and Liberty Farm are members of various Farm and Property Rights advocacy groups including cluding Hobby Farms, Slow Food USA and many others. So Martha, When did you start farming? Did you grow up on a farm? Martha Boneta - I did not grow up on a farm. I grew up in Mount Vernon Virginia. After my grandfather died my grandmother lived with us growing up for a short time and she created large kitchen gardens in the backyard and that is where my Dream was born to be a farmer. We grew enough vegetables when I was little for our family and our neighbors A lot of my adolescence I spent going to farms with my family and as I grew older I would volunteer, apprentice and seek out opportunities to learn from local farmers, took classes, joined farming groups, became actively engaged in the farming commuting and read everything I could get my hands on.

I grew up with love and respect for where our food comes from and I could not wait to one day be a farmer. That dream became Reality in 2006 when I purchased Liberty Farm in Paris, Virginia. Anil - What was the biggest change you encountered during your years farming?
My mom loved to cook and cared deeply about the ingredients with which she prepared our family meals. Growing up in poverty, my mom did not have access to an abundance of organic sustainable locally sourced food. So mom’s family grew as much as they could in their small urban backyard in steel country. My mom taught us that she put love in to our family’s diet by caring about the ingredients and “making everything from scratch”. My mom would use food as medicine to cure everything from the common cold to a sore throat. Homemade chicken bone broth with fresh squeezed lemons, garlic, onions etc was a staple.
Martha Boneta - The Small family farm in America had been truly neglected for far too long. In recent years, there is an emergence of a “locavore” movement, an overwhelming desire and “hunger” for locally produced food from a small family farm producers. farmers markets are everywhere, restaurants proudly post on their menus were the ingredients locally are coming from and universities are teaching small family farm education as a viable business in America. Anil - What would you say have been the biggest changes you've implemented on your own farm since you've been farming here? Do they correspond with what you think the biggest changes have been in the industry during that time? Martha Boneta - We encourage the public to come to our farm. We noticed a void in the public school system that didn’t provide access for children to
Page 11

Christian Times Magazine
truly understand and experience where their food is coming from. A profound moment for me was when a group of young school children came to the farm and they did not know chicken eggs can be so many different colors in so many different shapes. They thought I’ll chicken eggs white the same exact size. The wonder and excitement for the kids of harvesting their own eggs still warm from the hens, the delight in their eyes inspired me to make sure we provided classes for the public to come to the farm and learn about farming. We offer beekeeping classes, how to grow food in your backyard and so many more.
corn mazes or even farm-stays and bed and breakfasts on the farm homestead.
Anil - What changes have you seen in the business aspect of farming in your lifetime?
Anil - What roles did the members of your family play in farming? Did everyone work on the farm or did people have off farm employment?
Martha Boneta - The ability for the small family farmer to be viable on the land and make a living is very difficult from farming alone. Most small farm producers struggle day to day to survive when they have made pennies on the dollar from their hard work on the land. The high cost of farm insurance, medical insurance and the inability to control nature with drought for example makes farming still unpredictable in many ways. With today’s great appreciation for the American farmer, agri-tourism is booming and has provided an additional source of income for the family farmer with everything from hayrides to pumpkin carving and
Anil - Has it been viewed as more of a business for you, or a lifestyle choice? Some combination of the both? Martha Boneta - Being a farmer is a labor of love for me. Farmers works 365 days a year in rain, snow and the hottest and coldest days of the year. The agrarian way of life is precious to our American heritage and a way of life as well as a business.
Martha Boneta - Without my faith, my family and my friends my dream to be a farmer would not have been possible. Everyone helps in different capacities.
Anil - Have you ever considered getting out of agriculture for a more lucrative career? If so, what type of work did you think you might want to do? Martha Boneta - I will never stop farming. I have become more active in the public policy arena fighting for family farmers and our values of faith
Page 12

and freedom that are constantly under threat in our country.
Anil - What do you think was the most useful advance in farming?
Anil - How do you see your role in the community?
Martha Boneta - American farmers have reached levels of productivity that the world has never seen. Farmers are implementing new technology and innovative efficient agricultural machinery that make it possible to do more with less and it means a better quality of life for people across the globe.
Martha Boneta - I am an encourager and an advocate for American Farmers who face ever growing challenges and to never give up on the American dream. I know firsthand what is like to be crushed by over regulation, harassment from a radical extreme “environmental”group that wants to destroy the American Farmer and property rights. I know the pain and struggle of fighting for over 10 years for the American Dream. But I also know that with hard work and determination we can and will win against those that want to destroy freedom and prosperity. I am living proof that the American dream is alive and that we must fight to protect it every day. On a personal note - I want to be an advocate and encourager for our faith based values that are under assault from our culture and our political leaders. So often, God is pushed out of the public square or worse - attacked. So often, Christians are attacked for practicing their faith and following the teaching of the Bible. We need leaders Who will stand firmly but lovingly for God in our nation.
Anil - Do you think our agricultural system benefits from subsidies or are they harmful?
Martha Boneta - Farmers provide the food that literally makes life possible, therefore farmers do need unique attention. If most businesses fail it is tragic and lives are hurt but if farmers fail, it could literally mean we don’t have the food we need to feed our families. Anil - Have you seen a change in government involvement with agriculture in the US? Martha Boneta - Farmers now have a friend in the WH - someone who understands the vital role farmers play for our nation and who is getting rid of unnecessary regulations and red tape. Under Trump, the EPA, BLM, DOI and so many other agencies now work with farmers rather than against farmers.
Page 13
www.ctimesmag.com
Anil - What are the Challenges are you facing today as a US Farmer? Martha Boneta - Government over regulation at the state and local level threaten productivity and making it ever more difficult for farmers to be profitable. Thankfully the Trump Administration is taking necessary steps to eliminate unnecessary red tape. A significant problem for US farmers is increased debt because of increased prices in machinery and government regulation.
Anil - Do you think Trump Tax Cut Helpful for you and small farmers? Martha Boneta - Thanks to the Trump tax cuts, all 7 individual tax cuts were lowered meaning more money in the pockets of Americans from all walks of life and that’s a good thing. In addition, the corporate tax Cora have made our economy take off at a rate we haven’t seen in a decade. This means higher wages for working Americans, more prosperity across the board for everyone and stronger American businesses.
Anil - Have you taken any steps to make your farm more environmentally friendly?
Christian Times Magazine
Martha Boneta - We have never used pesticides or herbicides on our farm. I wanted to produce the tasty flavors that I grew up with when my grandmother had elaborate GMO free and chemical free kitchen gardens. Anil - What do you think of sustainable agriculture? Are you under any pressure from consumers to move toward that practice? Martha Boneta - we have always been sustainable producers. I grew up picking tomatoes and biting right into them like an apple without having to worry about whether or not they were sprayed with a bunch of chemicals. It was my dream for consumers to enjoy our tomatoes in the same way and be able to experience that as well and that is how we have always been.
Anil - Well, we really appreciate your services to American Farmers and in agriculture fields, And we prayer that God of Israel use you more and more for our Great Nation.

HOLY HALLOWEEN ? By Joshua D. Jones
AS HEATED AS THE POLITICAL scene may be, it pales in fervor with which Christians will debate Halloween. This battle of ideas will be waged from the beaches of church pews to the hills of Facebook. There will be shots fired and people unfriended.
But what cyber surfing culture warrior would be complete without some historical trivia and theological sanity? Here you go...............
The Background Story Though many Christians avoid Halloween because it, at first, seems too dark or too commercial, 'All Hallow’s Eve' is neither American nor pagan in heritage. The name should be obvious enough. Hallow means ‘holy’ (‘Hallowed be thy name’) and it marks a three-day celebration of the victory of Jesus over the powers of darkness as experienced by departed saints and Christian martyrs - with November 1st being All Saints Day. These type of celebrations have happened since the 300’s AD and the date became formalised on the Church calendar in 835 AD by Pope Gregory.
Traditionally, this holy day was a time to remember Christ’s victory over darkness and to remember that we still have to battle against evil. As St. Paul writes in Ephesians 6,
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. How have Christians historically celebrated this? By joyful mockery. Satan has lost his final victory, is a defeated foe and nothing pushes back his minions like Christian joy. It is from this tradition that people draw silly pictures of the devil and let their kids dress up as ghosts to show that he can no longer dominate the redeemed people of God - we no longer need to be afraid. Historically, Christians would even burn the costumes afterwards. Now I confess, there has been a historic debate about this day. Catholics and Protestants have argued over how departed Christians should be viewed - with Catholics seen as sometimes over-venerating these past Saints. But both Protestants and Catholics historically understood that the main point of the holiday is Christ's victory with his people over evil. Halloween is also a historic occasion for friendship. Though sweets (candy) is abundant and cheap today, in previous centuries, giving these small gifts to children was more costly and an act of true Christian generosity.
Christmas and Easter
Page 19 Christians are a redeemed people and as such we have a cheeky tendency to alchemise the culture around us. We make once wicked things into trophies for our God. We did this with Christmas and Easter. Those holidays have pagan roots – but we’ve stolen the whole thing and redirected it to honour Jesus. No longer is Saturnalias worshipped mid–winter, now we sing the praises of Christ through carols. But now pagans and the commercial industry is trying are trying to get revenge for Christmas and Easter by hijacking our All Hallow’s Eve – a holiday that started out Christian. They try to claim associations with ancient Celtic Harvest days. They want to change it into a day of celebrating the powers of darkness over the powers of light. Unfortunately, some Christians are unaware of their own roots and have let the pagans think for them - buying into this propaganda. Letting let the pagans and mainstream commercial society have our day show's a certain type of cowardly insanity. We Christians are retreating from a holiday that was once wholly ours. Let's reclaim the victorious and hospitable traditions of the past and teach the children around us that through Christ's death and resurrection, we no longer need to be afraid.
Let’s celebrate All Hallow’s Eve big this year. The sweets you give your neighbourhood children should be far more generous and grad than those given to them by your unbelieving neighbours!

A REPUBLIC ? By Christopher Grahn Howard
‘A Republic if you can keep it” was the famous response from Benjamin Franklin when asked what kind of government was established. My questions are…Have we kept the Republic? Are we transitioning into a true Democracy? Contrary to popular misinformation we are not, nor were we founded as a democracy. Repeat after me…WE ARE NOT A DEMOCRACY. The United States of America are a constitutional republic that utilizes the democratic method by which to elect our representatives. This is a very important distinction that is often missed or glossed over. Understanding the difference is crucial.
F“Democracy, will soon degenerate into an anarchy, such an anarchy that every man will do what is right in his own eyes, and no man's life or property or reputation or liberty will be secure and every one of these will soon mold itself into a system of subordination of all the moral virtues, and intellectual abilities, all the powers of wealth, beauty, wit, and science, to the wanton pleasures, the capricious will, and the execrable cruelty of one or a very few." John Adams

"The Republican is the only form of government which is not eternally at open or secret war with the rights of mankind." — Thomas Jefferson, Author of the Declaration of Independence, 3rd President of the United States of America
Page 22
www.ctimesmag.com
John Adams’ words are almost prophetic. Democracy has often times been described as a large beautiful sailboat with massive sails and no rudder. Being a republic provides that rudder. What we are seeing played out before us is the devolving into mob rule or pure democracy. This of Adams' words and now remember the Kavanaugh hearings, the mobs in the streets, the bullying in restaurants. Democrats want the abolishment of the Electoral College in favor of the popular vote. Why? Bush and Trump were elected by the Electoral College despite not winning the popular vote. The Electoral College may seem antiquated, the sole purpose is to protect the rights of smaller states. If you abolish the Electoral College most states will not matter in elections, candidates will not visit, your opinions will not be heard.
This protection exists for the same reason we have a bicameral legislature. The Electoral College is a built-in protection against mob rule.
By the time any of you read this, the elections will be over, the television ads will have stopped and things may return to normal. May. My best prediction is that the GOP gains in the Senate and loses seats in the House, maybe enough to lose control. Either way, Trump will claim some victory as it had been expected that he would lose control of both. It will be what it will be. My greater concern is that the process, on both sides, has devolved into mob rule. If you read my last article it sounds as if I am playing both sides. To be clear, SmashMouth Politics was written in the face of those who would attempt to bully and intimidate conservatives. I stand by that. I will not be bullied or intimidated. If you want to win...do it at the ballot box. What the article should not be interpreted as a new way of engaging the other side or an excuse to commit violence. Even if the other side won’t…we must strive to elevate the debate. Not as easily done as said. I the week leading up to the election I did something I usually do not do, I posted some fairly aggressive and intense memes on my social media. It was intentional as I wanted to take the temperature of those who follow me. What surprised me the most???? Well, honestly I expected to be called out by friends on both sides for posting such aggressive memes. What actually happened? Many well educated and thoughtful people from both parties responded angrily, with profanity and intensity. I will say this again, most of these people are well educated thoughtful people. We have all become so caught up in the attack, emotion, blame, and the mob. We are better than this. I also asked the following question: What if Trump had an epiphany and made every effort to be the leader liberals would want, in his rhetoric? Would any of my liberal friends think better of him or would they still reject him out of hand? Would they place policy conditions on such a reversal? To the Trump supporters, would you believe the liberals if they did? Would you still support the President? Do you feel that the Trump method is simply necessary in order to accomplish the goals? Honestly, I wonder? Thoughts? Nothing President Trump might have said would have allowed any of the respondents to change their mind one
Christian Times Magazine
way or the other. I was surprised by this, again from educated and thoughtful people. I have spent time
thinking how this could be such. Too many people are caught up in the emotion of it all. Too many are responding viscerally, on both sides. The emotion is getting out of hand. I am not suggesting that people should not care or express how they feel, rather just to do that in a respectful manner. Many want to blame President Trump for this development. Let’s explore that a bit. Yes, president Trump does say some cringe-worthy things, words I wish would not come out of his mouth. Yet, this is why people elected him. The average person is tired of political doublespeak and their elected officials not answering their questions. A plain-spoken direct answer, even one you do not like, is better than a bunch of words with no meaning. Not to mention the words of Democrat leaders like Schumer who said: “at any cost”. President Trump is a New York builder, tough and knows how to engage a fight. He will not be bullied or intimidated. That fact has left the Democrats with some tough options. My guess is he feels like he is being bullied and has been since the election. I will ask again. Are we still the Republic our founders gave us? Yes, but I fear we are transitioning into a democracy. Mob rule, a rudderless ship careening around the ocean. In such an environment the rights of the minority, no matter the issue, cannot be protected. If you really want to know what makes America great? Our built-in processes to understand that the rights of the minority on any issue need to be protected. This does not always happen, sadly. I am constantly amazed that the left believes in labeling conservative policies as being fascist. It is not conservatives taking to the streets and threatening others, just because we disagree. That did not even happen during the Tea Party rallies. Conservatives do not bully people in restaurants. Conservatives do not try to control; your thoughts by challenging what words you can use. Conservatives do not try and eliminate history, even if it is an uncomfortable one. You get the point here. Look at the history of Hitler's brown shirts...they are not more akin to modern conservatives but rather today's liberals. President Trump rightly has said on the recent campaign trail: "Jobs not Mobs!" To my liberal friends, I do get it. You are afraid of the policies of the President. You care about education, open borders, free healthcare. Honestly, I am glad you care. I just disagree with you on some of those things and how to achieve others. Other than an improving economy what has changed or made this country weaker? A socialist democrat friend of mine said after the 2016 election; “You survived eight years of Obama and I will survive eight years of Trump". His point being, that our country is too strong for any one president to destroy. Many friends on both left and right may disagree. As for me, I support the President. I support his actions of substance, while not always being supportive of what he says. I do not always agree with Trump. Either way, we all must work to preserve our Republic. The descent into madness and anarchy is paved down the road into a pure democracy.

How Should We Then Live? By Charles Lingerfelt
Now that the General Election is over in America and we see who has been elected both locally and nationally, I for one, am not very well pleased with how our elections went. It used to be that when we were ready to have an election in America, it was a good time and you could almost guarantee that many good people would be elected – regardless of party affiliation. In our elections today though, we have many unqualified people running for office, especially out there on ‘The Left.’ The Democrat party today is filled and controlled by antiAmerican Leftists/Socialists who consistently work against the Constitution of the U. S. Many of them have practiced in the Law as attorneys who are degreed, but they have been ‘Trained’ by socialistic professors in universities and colleges which have become nothing more than ‘Socialistic spin-mills.’ The Democrat socialists in America teach that capitalism is inherently incompatible with what they hold to be true democratic “values of liberty, equality and solidarity;” and that these ideals can only be achieved through the realization of a socialist society. Therefore, Democratic socialism can be supportive of either revolutionary or
reformist politics as a means to establish socialism. And, when you look all around today in America, you can see the “results” of these socialistic revolutionary tactics being used by the Leftist Democrats. For years, the press in America have been controlled by Marxists and Leninists; then they weaseled themselves into different branches of our federal government. And today, the Marxists/Leninists ‘control’ large blocks of these different departments and refuse to budge, or leave. And if you try to “fire them,” or remove them otherwise you are almost considered Satanic. The Socialists’ plan in America is to move incrementally from free markets to state control of almost all our economic activity. It is clear to me, and to many others as well, that they have made notable progress toward reaching their goals. More than two years ago, A self-avowed socialist made a strong run for the Democrat party presidential nomination. The leader in that race had rejected outright socialism, but promised to exercise unprecedented government control over business in America if she got elected. Of course, she would merely be continuing in the footsteps of a president who had been heavily influenced by socialist ideas and had pursued a decidedly Marxist-Leninist economic agenda. Every now and then we hear someone say, "How could a socialist come so close to winning the nomination?" Then we ask: How can you be surprised? The essence of socialism is hostility to private property, and virtually every economic policy pursued by Democrats expresses that antipathy.
Page 25

So, what are we to do now that we live in a decidedly different society than when we were founded: A society that completely reverses the Founding fathers’ positions that are concrete in the Constitution and in the Declaration of Independence. How are we to Live? How Should Then Live As Christians? Messiah Jesus (Yeshua ha Mashiach) told us in His teachings to us that “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.”(Matthew 5:13) These words were spoken to a large crowd of people in the ‘Longest Recorded Message’(sermon) on a mountainside overlooking the Sea of Galilee. It is called, “The Sermon on the Mount.” Jesus had concluded with teaching the ‘The Beatitudes.’ And now, He says to them, “You are the salt of the earth.” What was He trying to say to them – teach them? What He said to them is just as important for us today as it was to them – standing there on that mountain. My mother used to say this to my Brother, Ken, and me all the time as we were boys; she would say, “You are the salt of the earth, now get out there and make a difference with your lives.” Salt is a preserver of life; and it used to be used around meat as a “packer” around meat. It would keep the meat from ruining and turning bad. In other words, the salt preserved the meat. Those were the days before we had large plants of refrigeration, and Ice-packing houses. The salt preserved the meat and kept it fresh !
Today, we are the “preservers of life” to the world; and we are to be ‘acting like it.’ May God help us all to be the Christians that we ought to be, because He has commanded us to “be the salt of the earth.” And we are the ONLY ones on this earth who CAN and WILL preserve life. “Now, “Get out there and Make a Difference with Your life!”

Hillary for 2020?
It could happen There are rumours and counter-rumours that Hillary Rodham Clinton could run for the White House in 2020. It is clear she is not budging and uses any opportunity she can to criticize President Trump. Clearly, she still believes she could be doing a better job than her former opponent if she won the presidency on the popular vote alone. The Clintons are using every opportunity they can to shift the media’s attention back onto them. They are now embarking on a national tour that is purely focused on what happened during the 2016 presidential election. And those loyal Democrat supporters out there are no doubt enraged that Trump critics like the Clintons and the Obamas have received suspicious packages that could have killed them all.
Some believe the Clintons sent out those packages on purpose to generate sympathy among their fans. Whoever was behind that bomb scare and whatever their motives, they have rightly been labelled as cowards by the President. For all the Clintons’ faults, I do not believe they were behind those suspicious packages that were sent to Trump’s critics. Nonetheless, they will use it to their advantage when they commence their vanity tour soon. Bill has made himself more visible in the political limelight since Trump became President. He has teamed up with George W. Bush to speak out against the Trump administration, something many of us thought we would never see in our lifetimes, and he has written a book with controversial author James Patterson called ‘The President Is Missing.’ Given both Clintons are in their 70s and are both enjoying being grandparents, it would seem sensible to suggest that they should retire peacefully and enjoy what is left of their lives. But there must be a legitimate reason as to why they are still making so much noise, and that is they both want to be America’s first power couple to produce a female president and a First Man. Assuming President Trump runs for and wins a second term in office, he will be in his late 70s by the time he has left the White House. The President already commands a loyal number of supporters, even if his presidency has been rocked by the Mueller investigation into Russian collision during the 2016 election and his claim to have cleared the damage caused by recent hurricanes before they even happened. Democrat heavyweights like Joe Biden do not possess that base of support and if he does win the 2020 Democrat nomination, he will be approaching his 80s by then. If he won a second term in office in 2024, he will be 86 by the time he has retired. The phrase ‘you are only as old as you feel’ may ring true for many of us but being President of the United States is the toughest job anyone can take on. It ages the incumbent quickly. Imagine the impact the job would have on someone in their late 70s. Many fear Donald will be too old to be President by the time his second term starts. And besides, Biden has run for the Democratic nomination before and failed to secure it. Who says it will be any different now? And then there is Bernie Sanders. He will be 79 by the time 2020 approaches. He failed to secure the Democratic nomination in 2016 and would be almost 90 if he went on to win two terms in office. The left-wing of the Democratic Party

is not strong enough to elect a candidate like Bernie and would he be able to inspire the youth vote? Doubtful given his age. Elizabeth Warren has become a laughing stock among left-wing Democrats that she would also fail to inspire enough delegates to secure the 2020 nomination for her party. There has been talk about many other contenders standing, but some of the names being floated about like Julian Castro and Cory Booker are unlikely to win the 2020 Democrat nomination because they are not established enough. For all these reasons, therefore it is possible Hillary will stand in 2020. Of all the candidates listed, she wants the presidency badly. She feels like it is her unfinished mission on Earth. She is also the youngest of all the likely contenders. She will be into her early 80s by the time she would have finished two terms in office, but she would still be much younger than Bernie or Biden when she is due to retire. The Clintons also can raise a substantial amount in funds for presidential elections. In 2016, Hillary received $563,756,928 to run for president. She outraised both Trump and Sanders, who raised $333,127,164 and $228,164,501 respectively. Hillary also received $231,118,680 from outside groups in 2016. This makes her a force to be reckoned with in the Democrats. Ever since Trump was inaugurated in January 2017, Mrs Clinton has made herself the face of the anti-Trump movement. She regularly tweets about the actions the current administration makes, she even urged a resistance against the President last year and her book, ‘What Happened’, was a means of attempting to draw attention to herself. Some would even argue she deflected blame away from herself and towards everyone else involved in the 2016 election, including possible Russian hackers. Mrs Clinton’s former campaign strategist, Adrienne Elrod, dismissed rumours of Hillary launching another presidential run to The Hill, calling them a pipe dream. After urging new faces to lead the Democrats, Elrod went on to say she would advise against Mrs Clinton running for a second term. Michael Goodwin of The New York Times declared in his column that Hillary will run for president in 2020. She is the only heavyweight with a chance of defeating Trump, even if she has been defeated two times in the past. Goodwin revealed that she has made phone calls to White House reporters which signal a plan to occupy that same building one day. One of her former aides, Philippe Reines, admitted to Politico that she might try again.

However, Trump has more in factors in his favour this time. He has presided over a booming economy, assuming it remains that way until 2020. After all, a week is a long time in politics as Harold Wilson once said. But as the Bank of England keeps warning us, a recession is long overdue. Despite this, his economic record so far should bode well for the upcoming midterms. He also must hope he can pull off foreign policy victories with North Korea and Iran. If he can also reform NAFTA, complete the wall, curb immigration and bring more jobs back home, 2020 is his in the bag. As for Hillary, she has a lot riding against her if she runs for 2020. She dismissed Trump supporters as basket cases in the last election and her recent defence of her husband during the Monica Lewinsky scandal proves she still does not comprehend people’s anger towards mainstream politicians. If she couldn’t win in 2016, who is to say she will win in 2020? If Trump can achieve all his campaign promises by then, he will beat her easily this time round. Then again, commentators anticipated Al Gore would battle George W. Bush again in 2004, and he didn’t. But if this isn’t speculation, Trump can expect an easier ride in less than two years’ time.

Red Tie Rising, a Design Honoring President Trump Created to Bring Millennials Together Behind the Conservative Message Red Tie Rising™ and the designs are a Trademarked Brand and all designs under the brand are copyrighted to Gaby Juergens. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
The designs feature a sleek red tie, followed by the words "I Stand With Him" the "I" in HIM replaced with the red tie. The intent behind not using President Trump's name, is what they believe is going to be the selling point for Millennial's. “As a designer I look to what is an inspiration as I start the creative process, in this case to a demographic such as the conservative millennial vote. They are young, goal oriented and have a vision for their country.
Washington DC – October 30th 2018 - Gaby Juergens, a professional licensed designer, partnered with Christianne’ Allen to create a brand that will unite Millennials behind the Conservative message, by spinning off a unique design that they believe Millennials will wear proudly. Christianne’ is a 19 year-old entrepreneur who was one of Donald J. Trump’s youngest campaign interns and frequently spoke at rallies in 2016. “When my client approached me with her new design, I immediately found myself nodding in excitement. Besides the infamous MAGA hat, there has not been a brand that has truly united young Americans behind the Conservative message in a chic and stylish way,” said Christianne Allen
The use of a red tie as a branding element was something I saw immediately, since it is so closely associated with President Trump. As a designer I feel that everyone is looking to make a statement about themselves and where they stand on both sides of the political aisle. Sometimes brevity and succinctness in messaging in a fashion design is the greatest wow facto,.” said Ms. Juergens With only one week until Mid-Terms, Red Tie Rising’s™ efforts to get Millennials to proudly wear their vote and turn up at the polls to support their party are in full effect, sending out their shirts, mugs and workout gear to influencers on social media across the country. “Through social media we are seeing more and more young Conservatives stepping forward sharing that they voted for Donald Trump, it’s trending. Our goal is to tap into that energy with Red Tie Rising. Millennials are now the largest and most diverse voting bloc. Our voices and votes are powerful, we just need to utilize them.” said Christianne’ Allen

Mid-Term Mania, Bring On the Fight & Your Due Season Is Coming By Pastor David A. Colbert
I am writing this short article several days before what is known as Halloween. I am not afraid of ghost and goblins, but of Democrats getting control of the House or Senate. I hope that didn’t happen. If it did we will have a bumpy ride ahead of us. This article will become available after the midterm elections. On another note I heard a lot of talk about new taxes and tariffs being placed on goods coming from various different countries especially China. I hope this does not affect the price of my Chinese food. I love me some beef and fried rice. I believe that we are living in exciting times. Unlike the past Administration who constantly spoke of change, the Trump administration is making changes for the better. The Obama administration lived up to its campaign promises for change, but unfortunately for the American citizens it was a change for the worst. I hope the Republicans are able to dismantle Obamacare and give us a plan that doesn’t hire more IRS agents and penalize us for not being able to afford health insurance. We have not seen anything yet if Republicans maintain the control of the House and the Senate. The fireworks will start. I can’t wait to see what kind of foolishness the Democrats will come up with to try to somehow slow the progress of the Trump Administration. I don’t believe we can put anything pass the Democratic Party. Their tactics are raunchy and they will try anything to get their point across or to get their way. I went to the polls today for early voting. I bet you can guess how I voted, for the Republicans baby. Yes, I am a conservative Republican through and through. I went to the polls today for early voting. I bet you can guess how I voted, for the Republicans baby. Yes, I am a conservative Republican through and through. I went to the polls today for early voting. I bet you can guess how I voted, for the Republicans baby. Yes, I am a conservative Republican through and through. I plan on running my first race for city council in 2019 or 2020 in the City of Conroe Texas. Please pray God will direct my path and provide campaign funding. I am looking forward and praying for the next two years of the Trump Administration. I was deeply saddened today to see and hear the news from Pittsburgh, PA. I would like to offer
my heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their love ones in the evil mindless attack on the Jewish Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I am a direct descendant of the Jewish people, who are located in Ethiopia, Africa. Our prayers are with you here at Christian Times Magazine. I want to share a message I delivered in my church in September 2018. I hope you are in encouraged by this message. “Your Due Season Is Coming” God’s Promises: Genesis 15:1-6, 18-21 GEN 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. GEN 15:2 And Abram said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? GEN 15:3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. GEN 15:4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. GEN 15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. GEN 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. GEN 15:18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: GEN 15:19 The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, GEN 15:20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaim, GEN 15:21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites. We see here in these verses a man desiring for an heir. Like

many men even myself I wanted a man child to carry on my name. Praise God he blessed me with two children, Rachel and Joshua and now two beautiful grand children Jayden and Kennedi. God answers prayers. Abram received a promise from God, and like many of us he had to wait for the manifestation. There is an old saying “He may not come when you want him to, but is right on time”. The most difficult thing for us as believers is to wait on the promise. We have a tendency to try and rush God. I can tell you from my experience that does not work. God knows the end from the beginning, so it is best to wait on Him. Sadly, as a human being I try to rush God a lot. Like many of you I find it does not work. I keep telling myself maybe it will work this time. I know some you have experienced those times God gives us our timing and invariably we discover that it was too early. I believe allows this sometimes to show us that His way is best for us. Abram like us at the beginning was excited and expectant, before he realized God’s timing. He did of course believe God and it was accounted unto him for Righteousness. Jesus mentions in the New Testament about the seeds that are planted by the Gospels. He says how some fall on rocks, some fall in shallow ground and fall on good soil. I am just paraphrasing.

and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. GEN 16:2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. GEN 16:3 And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. GEN 16:4 And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes. GEN 16:5 And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee. GEN 16:6 But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thine hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.
Let’s read it….. (Matthew 13:18 – 23) MT 13:18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. MT 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. MT 13:20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; MT 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. MT 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. MT 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. We receive many promises from God even today. I received even answers to prayers I forgot, because I do believe in leaving to God once I have tried on my own too. (Hint, Hint) Let go and God do the work and it will get done He promised and He will do. Ok. Let’s move on Man’s Impatient Solutions: Genesis 16:1:10
GEN 16:1 Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children:
GEN 16:7 And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. GEN 16:8 And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai. GEN 16:9 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands. GEN 16:10 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude. Have you ever noticed that man always thinks he has a better way? I have noticed. I love it when I turn on the news and they have quote, unquote discovered some new thing for emotional and physical disorder that has already been revealed in God’s word. It would be almost laughable if it were not serious and affected so many lives. God knows all, ever cure, every solution to every problem we face. Go to the source from now on “GOD in Christ Jesus” and you will find your answers; I guarantee that; will you like them, maybe not but they are in His word. The story here always amazes me. Who thought Abram would go along with it? Your wife is telling you that she will give you another younger possibly more beautiful woman to sleep with, and that will be ok with her. I am not saying that all men would go along with that, but I believe the majority would say, it is alright with me if you don’t mind. People, this is foolishness. This is man’s attempt to rush God and it causes so many problems. We are still suffering repercussions even today, from Sarah and Abraham’s decision.

I like to watch Star Trek series programs. In that series there is often a question posed of going back in time and interfering with the timeline. They say it changes everything and may even circumvent their very existence. Well, I don’t know about you but when I seek to rush God it too causes delays in many ways up to and including the manifestation of the blessings God has promised me. I am going to share something that I have perceived in my own life. Sometimes I wait on God and see that just when I feel like rushing Him and don’t. The answer comes shortly after, sometimes within the next day or week. So, I say wait on the Lord and He will bring it to past. Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in “due season” we shall reap if we faint not Thank You for Reading. I welcome your replies and comments to this short article and my message “Your Due Season Is Coming”. Please watch for my article in the December Issue of Christian Times Magazine. I’m Going to Heaven And- I know It! By Dan Brien
Making your Salvation certain If I died today I’m certain I’ll be with Jesus in Paradise. How do I know? Because I’ve made my calling and election sure. You can too!!! 2 Peter 1:10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,
But in his second letter, Paul acknowledges the man’s repentance of sin, and tells the Church to bring him back again 2 Corinthians 2:7 Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.
My certainty began in 2005, when God asked me to trust Him to heal me from my mental illness misery. He asked me to believe that “somehow” he can get me out of it - And I chose to believe Him. That decision changed my life forever, and my perspective of the Lord’s love and faithfulness. Now I can boldly say, I have faith in God”. I believe Him!!! Today I still struggle with anxiety issues, but I believe He will one day set me free.
Say it,
But my faith didn’t start there. Actually, it was seeing the Lords protection over my life for years that eventually allowed me to start believing the Lord is actually a loving God. If you want to be sure you’re going to be with Jesus when you die, you must walk with the Lord long enough to trust that your Heavenly Father never lets go of his children. You are his Child, a sheep of his pasture. Jesus is the shepherd of your soul. When you stray Jesus goes looking for you. Luke 15:4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? Did you know, there’s no scripture saying any specific Christian lost their salvation. Not even the man from Corinth who married his Fathers wife. In the Apostle Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, he ordered the man to be expelled by the church. 1Corinthians 5:1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife. ---- 5 hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.
What a loving Father!
I belong to Jesus. I’m going to heaven And I Know It!

One Way To Peace In The Middle East By By Paul McCabe In light of the sheer intractability of the problems involved in a real peace in the Middle East, some new approach is warranted to break years of deadlocks and lack of compromise. Political efforts by political leaders have nudged the peace process one step forward. But then repeatedly we have witnessed two steps backward. Several American Presidents have put their prestige on the line, with greater or lesser effectiveness and results. Regional leaders have made great efforts as well, but even now, there is still no peace. Violence and hatred still smolder and often break out. Political approaches have brought quite limited answers in a region full of obstinacy. A President of Egypt and a Prime Minister of Israel, both ex-generals in their countries’ military forces, gave their lives for the peace process. Three years after signing the Camp David Accords and winning the Nobel Peace Prize, Anwar Sadat died in a hail of bullets in 1981. Less than one year after winning the Nobel Peace Prize, Yitzak Rabin was shot to death in 1995 at a public rally in support of the Oslo peace agreement. At a time like this, therefore, we must look to different solution, a more definitive and long-lasting one. At the close of the worst war in history, Douglas MacArthur said the following on September 2, 1945, in the first few moments of world peace: “If we do not now devise some greater and more equitable system, Armageddon will be at our door. The problem basically is theological and involves a spiritual recrudescence and improvement of human character… It must be of the spirit if we are to save the flesh.” Maybe after a long period of many unsuccessful efforts for peace on the ancient Mediterranean’s eastern shore, it is time to breathe new life into the suggestion of a great warrior. He was a man who knew quite a lot about war and peace, an expert on these matters. Thus it may be suitable to take the proposal of the most decorated US soldier and apply it in our own time to this particular thorny regional problem. The key term in that justly-famous speech is recrudescence 1721, from L. recrudescere "re-open" lit. "become raw again," from re- "again" + crudescere, from crudus "raw" (see crude) + inchoative suffix -escere. breaking out afresh or into renewed activity; revival or reappearance in active existence. To break out anew or come into renewed activity, as after a period of quiescence. The necessary spiritual recrudescence would involve a fundamental change in the hearts of men and women in the affected countries, and more widely as well. Of course such changes would be difficult to accomplish, so leadership must be applied; leaders must lead. By this I mean spiritual leaders of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity – the three great religions with roots in the region.
Give these leaders a chance to solve this long-standing problem, which has proven so intractable and impervious to mere political leadership. Not only the leaders of these “Big Three” religions, but we can cast the net wider and include others, like Maronites, Greek and Russian Orthodox, Buddhists, Sufis, and other men of good will, beyond the people of the Book. The impetus for a Middle East peace conference should come from these religious and spiritual teachers -- based on the willingness to lead a spiritual recrudescence -- for the purpose of improving “the human character” as MacArthur proposed many years ago at a key juncture in history. The initial conference may be called jointly by spiritual leaders and could take place in Rome, Istanbul, Mecca, Jerusalem, or even Geneva. This historic effort should not be based on a single meeting however – that won’t be adequate to solve problems with centuries of conflict stacked up behind them. A series of conferences, with continuing consultations, would be more suitable. Perhaps all five cities in turn could accept the numerous and serious responsibilities involved in such talks. These meetings would be the start of a long multi-national and multi-religion effort to bring about the spiritual recrudescence that will be the basis of a true and lasting peace. Only religious leaders from all nations – especially from the region – should be delegates. Politicians would not be eligible to attend. No matter what is the venue for the meetings, the leaders should find ways to push and pull their followers to peace. This involves real and muscular spiritual leadership: preaching to the people about the need for peace, the true meaning of religion, the significance of forgiveness, and the possibility of change in millions of hearts. Let imans, rabbis, preachers, monks, cardinals, reverends, patriarchs, bishops, and others mingle and reason together under the light of their various beliefs in God. Let them propose practical solutions to change the hearts of their flocks and followers. Then let them show the leadership which is at the base of every one of the world’s religions: to bring about good from adversity, to wrestle the fruits of peace from the crucible of war, to plant deep feelings of peace and justice in hearts around the world. There are many examples in the past of religious and spiritual leaders who for good reason have greatly affected history, in war and peace, in education and law, and in other fields. Perhaps now, at the sunrise of the third millennium, is the time for them to end their long quiescence, to return again to leadership roles. It is time for them “to save the flesh”, to bring to bear the force and power of religion and the inspired wisdom of the ages on an old and earthly set of problems. Real peace near the banks of the Jordan River will take time. Spiritual recrudescence certainly is not a simple matter. On this we should have no illusions. But let us begin.
