EDITOR NOTE At Christian Times Magazine, our mission is to distinguish ourselves from those who are providing the world with fake news. We report on facts and we have a team of professional reporters and columnists who provide insightful analysis and accurate reporting on the breaking stories happening right now. We are a source of truth and tradition at a time when the world needs it most.

CTM has been established for some time and we are becoming a respected brand across the United States. To continue that success, we need support from our readers, who make everything we do possible.

Our President, Donald Trump, is being vilified by the mainstream media. He has had some outstanding achievements, like cutting taxes for millions of ordinary Americans and withdrawing the United States from the hated Iran and Paris Climate Agreements. When people are searching for the truth about what our great President has done, we need to be there to ensure people are hearing facts, not fiction.

CTM intends to launch a News TV channel soon, which shows how well Christian Times Magazine is doing across our nation. But again, we cannot make these accomplishments happen without your support. Together, Christian Times Magazine's readers and writers can Make America Great Again.

Yours Sincerely,

Anil Anwar CEO / President

Interview with Reina Rose ANIL: Tell our readers about and your background?

REINA: All my life I have been fascinated to the point of near obsession with wellness of all kinds. Since childhood I would pour through my bible and pray to be like David, that God would make me the girl after His own heart. As a teen I would write songs for the church, write my way through dozens of prayer journals. This eventually led me to spend time in contemplative prayer in the silence of Benedictine monasteries, learning from catholic monks about their perspective on biblical truths. I have loved learning from monks who focus on Christ because they know the Greek and the Hebrew, they know the history and culture, and nobody is paying their salary to influence their thoughts on God and scripture. My heart has been lit on fire to seek the mysteries of God that can only be known when getting away alone with God as Christ often left the disciples to go up the mountain to be alone with The Father. Sixteen years ago I began my own health and fitness business, which over the years has transformed and evolved into wellness for the total boy, mind, and spirit. I now lead retreats for overscheduled professionals who are able to come to my retreats, which I refer to as “sacred sabbaticals” and reset, reprioritize and return to their lives more peaceful and focused on what really matters.

ANIL : When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

REINA: I have been writing songs, short stories, and then longer stories all my life. It was just after New Years a few years ago that God put this book on my heart so strongly that I absolutely had to write it, and I am so grateful I have followed His promptings.

ANIL: What literary pilgrimages have you gone on?

REINA: The entire process of writing this first book has been a literary pilgrimage. I could not have imagined the process would take several years to complete when I had the entire idea already. However, my editor tells me that is quite a normal timeline for even the most experienced of writers.

ANIL: What is the first book that made you cry?

REINA: I am not sure if a book has ever made me actually cry before, but I want to cry sometimes when I read stories in the bible where people doubt the greatness God has created them for. When Moses tells God he has fumbling lips and then God reminds him who made his lips it reminds me to keep running towards God’s purposes for me even when I feel unqualified to do so.

I like to use the example that if we sat on our sofa each night eating pizza and ice cream, we would not be surprised when we felt heavy and lethargic. However, many in our culture are feeding their souls jealousies, debts, meaningless sex, frequent drunken nights, and so forth and wondering why their souls feel anxious, apathetic, and depressed. This book is like Proverbs wisdom for a modern day audience. However, this book does not spoon feed answers to its readers, but leads them on a journey to ask the right questions of them and of God to lead them on the spiritual journey God has for them.

President Trump, America's Commander and Chief, stepped across the line between North and South Korea. He brought with him the courage and support of the American people along with our pride and hope for the future.

“Big moment, big moment,” Mr. Trump told him.

CTM | ISSUE 32 | PAGE 13

The momentous event was far from over as President Trump, leader of the free world, walked side by side as the two of them crossed the line into South Korea for a private conversation along with President Moon Jae-in of South Korea. With the celebration of America's Independence right around the corner, this momentous occasion couldn't have been timed better.

“This has a lot of significance because it means that we want to bring an end to the unpleasant past and try to create a new future,” Mr. Kim told reporters. “So it’s a very courageous and determined act.”

“Stepping across that line was a great honor,” Mr. Trump replied. “A lot of progress has been made, a lot of friendships have been made, and this has been in particular a great friendship.”

There is no doubt that the possibility of a true peace is in The future and as the world watches, Americans can once again feel the unending pride we have in our leader. President Trump is showing the world that real power resides in setting the past aside and looking to the future prosperity of all of us. It is the ultimate example of true leadership as he brings these two worlds together. 4th of July America celebrates Independence Day. Let's show the world the pride we feel as the vale of war is lifted between two other countries as well. Let's celebrate this great nation and remember that today it has been made a safer world.

President Trump is winning here, and few want to admit let alone acknowledge that fact.

CTM | ISSUE 32 | PAGE 16

The state of the economy would imply that most are better off than under Obama. Let’s Look ---

As of July 1, the United States will have experienced the longest economic expansion on record, ten years and running. The unemployment rate is at its lowest level in nearly 50 years, and inflation — though quiescent — has at least gotten close to the central bank’s 2 percent goal. …First quarter growth came in at a solid 3.1 percent. The Dow Jones industrial average has been climbing steadily this month, buoyed in part by promises of coming Fed rate cuts, and output growth trackers suggest that the economy probably grew around 2 percent in the second quarter — roughly in-line with the rate that most economists think the United States can sustain, given its demographics and investment level. The New York Times June 24, 2019

Our unemployment rate stands at 3.8 percent, a remarkable figure most presidents never achieve during their time in office. The unemployment rate during the first 26 months of the Trump administration averaged 4.1 percent, the lowest rate of any administration since the Bureau of Labor Statistics started tracking the statistic in 1948. The labor market continues growing stronger every month, consistently beating the expectations of all the skeptical establishment economists who continue to forecast an impending recession. The country added a solid 196,000 jobs last month, which comfortably exceeded the predicted increase of 170,000 jobs. The Hill — 04/29/19

The key here is the Republican party must win the PR battle over socialism. Last month’s article attempts to bring this into focus in layman’s terms. Understanding the nature of what our Founding Fathers intended for our economic system.

Remember that pie represents your happiness, your American Dream. When we use the government to ‘fix” problems; then we are asking the government to make decisions about our happiness and to regulate the American dream. Where is the Constitutional Liberty in that? I do believe that the government wants us all to enjoy the pie. If the government is the chosen answer, that will preclude any other option being presented. Nothing can compete with the Government. Every time the government is supplying the product or service, which denies an individual/s from providing that service and that always denies happiness.

A truth well understood by President Trump. A truth the American people must once again understand and appreciate. Our schools must teach this again and while no system is perfect, socialism is not what many Democrats think it is. This is where Democrats have it wrong. The tax cuts are not about trickle-down economics. The Trump tax cuts are about enabling more players in the economy. That is how one creates wealth. As many a conservative has stated it is not about more taxes but about having more taxpayers in the system. More taxpayers mean more taxes dollars than fewer taxpayers paying a higher tax. It is a trickle-up economy, and that works. This is how one raises revenues for the government to be more effective. Democrats too often assume that Republicans want no government or even a weak one. Not true, what Republicans want is a limited but strong and responsive government.

SOCIAL MEDIA’S WAR ON RELIGION By Dr. Demetrick (Tre) Pennie

America was founded as a nation of ideological principles of faith, law and governance. For several generations, scholars have argued that the “Founding Fathers” always intended for religious values to be the cornerstone of this nation’s governance as outlined in the Declaration of Independence of 1776. Yet, generational changes in cultural norms and technological advancements have altered the way that we think about and view immoral content in our society – behaviors that promote religious intolerance. Although, society has systematically witnessed an erosion of its core values over the years, within the last decade the problem has manifested to the level of public awareness because of social media.

The advent of social media, a 21st Century phenomenon, created a frenzy among America’s population. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat mastered the art of connecting the world through its platforms, but the companies failed to implement safeguards to protect society from impending threats. The social networking sites allow people to communicate, socialize and share ideas with across various spectrums. The concept of creating a visceral online environment, where the ideas and experiences could be instantaneously shared was ingenious, but the creators of the technology did not envision how the platforms would be used for nefarious means including the mass murder of thousands in Myanmar because of their religious beliefs. Unfortunately, because of social media’s malfeasance and this generation’s desire for undeserving attention through the streaming of horrific acts, religious institutions across the globe are now facing similar fates – Pittsburgh (synagogue), New Zealand (mosque) and Sri Lanka (church).

CTM | ISSUE 32 | PAGE 19

responses have been to the contrary. Among other platforms, Facebook argued that Islamophobic and AntiSemitic content did not violate their community standards. The social media companies have also claimed protection Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act; which grants liability immunity to online service providers for offensive content that third-parties post on their platform. Conversely, exclusions outlined in the Section 230 legislation suggests that the online service providers forfeit immunity protection if the company acts as a distributor of the content. Based on information derived from recent Congressional hearings, social media companies have actually been involved with creating, manipulating and distributing the content; all of which forfeits the companies’ right to claim immunity protection under Section 230.

The social media companies failed in the ability to anticipate flaws in new applications such as livestream. In fact, the systems are so inept that their programmatic algorithms are connecting people of like-minds together so that they can wage religious war; this places America and the world at risk for more attacks in churches, mosque and synagogues. Over few years, the social media companies denied responsibility for these violent attacks

Despite knowing the violations of these companies and acknowledging growing hostility towards religious freedom, Congress has still failed in their authority to regulate the platforms. Most Americans understand that politics play a significant role in policy development; however, no one expects our leaders to prioritize politics above our national security interests. History serves as the greatest teacher of mistakes in governance, the 9/11 attack

and have claimed that the radicalized content on their platforms is protected by freedom of speech. They have also claim immunity from liability under the outdated legislative precedent in Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act.

The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution was designed to protect citizens rights to freedom of speech, religion, and press. Ironically, all of those provisions have been used as protection for allowing nefarious content to remain on social media platforms. Freedom of speech is America’s most prized civil liberty because it is the one values that separates America from all other nations. It remains as a central pillar of American governance, yet the U.S. Supreme Court has struggled in defining what types of speech are protected. In the past, the Court has ruled that indecent material warrants protection under that law, but condemned speech that poses a reasonable risk to society and incites others to violence. Based on these established guidelines, social media companies are expected to restrict radicalized content inciting religious violence from their platforms, but the companies’

Spencer Platt/Getty Images will forever be referenced as in this space. By not responding appropriately to impending threats, Congress is putting our nation at risk. It has been more than two years, since Congress learned for social media’s role in the Myanmar killings; yet nothing has been done hold the social media companies accountable. In fact, Congress’ reluctance to act coupled with social media’s lack of accountability, have actualized America’s greatest fears of religious attacks on our own soil.

CTM | ISSUE 32 | PAGE 20

In conclusion, America was built on the idea of protecting civil liberties and promoting religious freedom. As a capitalistic nation, we have prospered only because we have remained tolerant and responsive to the needs and interests of our citizens. Citizens of this nation believe that national security interests are paramount to their overall safety; therefore, extremist content cannot be allowed to pervert the minds of our vulnerable. Our political leaders must understand that although social media is inspiring religious wars in other countries, there is a great likelihood for copycat sympathizers to emerge in this nation because of social media’s influence. Based on this premise, the social media companies must be put on notice that no one is above the law. As citizens, we employ Congress act before it is too late and end social media’s war on religion – no more funerals!

“Trump’s successes in reducing the cost of taxes and regulations, rebuilding our military, avoiding wars of choice and changing the courts rival those of all previous Republican presidents,” said Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.

With a list of accomplishments that long in just a few short years, it’s no wonder the Democratic Party is crying for impeachment. Especially since their party has nothing to offer other than a socialist platform, open borders and higher taxes. While the Democrats can't seem to find a real contender with real solutions, President Trump keeps working to fulfill the promises he made while on the campaign trail during the 2016 election.

But if American companies can be invited to bid for healthcare contracts and end waiting times for patients, surely this is something the Left should welcome as it means their beloved NHS is more efficient? This is something Tony Blair intended to embark on when he was prime minister, and if it improves health outcomes without ending the free point of entry for the NHS, that means one of its core principles that the Left cherish does not have to end.

Despite this, Corbyn has failed to use Trump’s visit as an opportunity to destroy the special relationship, one the UK will need post-Brexit. Although Theresa May failed to take advantage of the most pro-British president since Bush, whoever succeeds her will seize on the trading advantages a US-UK trade deal provides. The President seems open to working with Tory frontrunners Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt if either one of them become Prime Minister, and neither of them have said they will not cooperate with Trump to forge that ‘beautiful’ trade deal awaiting the British. This is despite the fact Johnson said he had no time to meet the President in June. The Labour Leader can do everything he can to criticise Trump, but most of the British public know he is a hypocrite. Trump is renowned for winning, and if he has scored one victory during his UK state visit, then it is to expose Corbyn for his inconsistency.
