Pirate Handbook
Arr, har har! Har har harrrr! “Wow, that’s some attack of the giggles!” you must be thinking. Well, you’re very wrong indeed. It’s not an attack of the giggles, it’s the first lesson a good pirate has to learn: how to let fly with a rip-roaring, swashbuckling, terrifying guffaw that freezes your blood. The second lesson you have to learn – and which you have to do at the same time – is to bang your fist down hard on the table. And harder still, while you’re still doing all this complicated stuff… can you pick up a glass full of water with your other hand, without spilling a drop?
And would you be prepared to do all this with a patch over one eye? If you can, then you’re ready to be a pirate.
A great pirate.
What is a Pirate?
Pirates are adventurous, bold, daring, courageous and a little bit sneaky. Their home is the sea; their destiny is to wander the oceans. They love things that aren’t theirs, but they only steal from people who’ve got more than they really need. They tend to fall in love easily, and they’re real show-offs.
