TABLE specifications INTRODUCTION Note: The templates shown in this document are for manufacturing. Obviously once the Green Cloth (.8mm) is fitted the tolerances will change. Example being an 84mm opening becomes 82.4mm BLUE TEMPLATE Top of the cushion curve PINK TEMPLATE Cushion Undercut

1. Object balls shall be, 2 inches (50.8 mm) diameter and weight of 116 grams, + 2 grams. 2. Cue ball shall be, 1 & 7/8 inches (47.6 mm) diameter and a weight of 94 grams. 3. Table height is 840mm from the floor to top of the cushion (+ or - 10mm) 4. The table slate is 2133.6 x 1066.8mm x 19mm (7’ x 3’ 6”x 3/4”) 5. The 45mm cushion playing surface is 2043.6mm x 976.8mm. 6. The 50mm cushion playing surface is 2038.6mm x 971.8mm. 7. Playing surface being the flat slate area between the two end cushion faces that the ball contact. 8. Cushion rubbers are the “L77” Northern Cushion rubber profile. 9. The wood cushion block overall height is 36.5mm. 10. The preferred cloth is Strachan 6811 30 oz (which is approximately 0.8mm in thickness). 11. The cloth nap to run from baulk to pyramid (rack) end. 12. Pocket size and cut to be as per agreed templates. 13. Lighting should be three shades, spaced 500mm apart or other suitable Lighting. 14. Bottom of the light height should be 1800mm above floor level.

17. When measured from the cushion edge the baulk line is drawn at 408.6mm.

Based on 7 x 3.6 Italian Slate 45mm Cushion

16. The baulk line is drawn at 1/5 (20%) of the playing surface.

18. The pyramid spot to be in the center of the rack half of the table. 19. A further improvement is to standardize the amount of rubber that turns into the pocket opening. This could be achieved by standardizing the gap between the wood to wood curves.

NOTE: THE MILLING CIRCULAR PATTERN ON THE SLATE. IF YOU HIT A BALL FROM THE CENTER OF BAULK, TOWARDS THE DOT BY DESIGN THE BALL WILL ROLL TOWARDS THE OUTSIDE POCKETS. IDEALLY THE SLATE MUST BE SANDED LEVEL AND SMOOTH.
