OUR RESPONSE TO THE WORD AND THANKSKGIVING OFFERTORY

My Shepherd Will Supply My Need — arr. Mack Wilberg My Shepherd will supply my need; Jehovah is his Name; in pastures fresh he makes me feed, beside the living stream. He brings my wandering spirit back, when I forsake his ways, and leads me for his mercy’s sake, in paths of truth and grace. When I walk through the shades of death, thy presence is my stay; one word of thy supporting breath drives all my fears away. Thy hand, in sight of all my foes, doth still my table spread; my cup with blessings overflows, thine oil anoints my head. CALLED CHARGE CONFERENCE MONDAY • MAY 9 • 7 PM • MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM Centenary UMC will have a called Charge Conference on May 9 at 7:00 pm, in the Auditorium, to consider the sale of the church owned Holly Avenue parking lot, the 633 and 635 W. Fourth Street properties and the adjacent parking lot on 4 ½ Street. The congregation is invited to attend the meeting. The members of the Church Council and any retired ordained minister who holds his or her charge conference membership with Centenary comprise the voting members of the Charge Conference. PLAYGROUND SUNDAY SCHOOL Rising 1 - 6 graders and their grown-ups are invited to join us for Playground Sunday School over the summer! During the summer (June 5 - August 21) we’ll gather on the playground from 10-10:45 am for play, fellowship, and a devotion plus donuts and coffee. In case of rain, we’ll gather in the Community Room.
