Banda Abou is, generally spoken, the west part of our lovely little island. One could say Banda Abou roughly starts at the village of Grote Berg and stretches all the way to the village of Westpunt. Things to do in Banda Abou Banda Abou hosts some of the islands most gorgeous beaches, as Cas Abou Beach, Lagun Beach, Playa Porto Mari and Playa Forti. Also, this area hosts some great opportunities for hiking, biking and all kinds of watersports, amongst others in Christoffelpark and National Park Shete Boka. Those who love cultural experiences will love to visit one of our local artists, Nena Sanchez, at Jan Kok Plantation House, or some of our other landmark Plantation Houses Banda Abou Facilities Banda Abou offers its residents and visitors lots of facilities. Virtually every village hosts a small grocery store; the village of Tera Kora features a full service supermarket. Fine dining is only minutes away, for instance in Kura Hulanda Lodge, Landhuis Daniel or Landhuis Misje And, needless to say, downtown Willemstad is only a half hour drive away. Living in Banda Abou Banda Abou residents state they consider the peace and quiet and the pricing of real estate well worth the slightly longer drive. In this edition of our newsletter we would like to showcase some Banda Abou properties, particularly in the gated community of Villapark Fontein.
