Smell Good Home TIPS FOR KEEPING YOUR HOME SMELLING FRESH •

Have house plants. Some house plants naturally purify the air such as English Ivy, lavender, mint and Chinese evergreen.

Essential oils. Use a reed or cool steam diffuser with your favorite essential oils. Put a few drops in your airducts or filters. Add a few drops to a bowl of pine cones.

Simmering pot. Add orange or apple slices or peel and cinnamon sticks to a pot of boiling water and turn heat down to a simmer for 30 mins. Also try lemon, rosemary and vanilla extract.

Take out the trash Run the garbage disposal Refresh linens. Switch out kitchen, bath towels, bed sheets, throw blankets and wash shower curtains and drapes. For those that cannot be washed use a linen spray. Clean out the fridge Place bouquets of fresh flowers around your home

Keep air moving. Open the windows, run the air conditioner or buy an air purifier.

Keep your trash can clean

Candles. Light a scented candle or place candle on candle warner. Add laundry scent booster to your candle warmer. Place tea lights in a bowl of coffee beans. Tie cinnamon sticks around a pillar candle.

Tie a bundle of eucalyptus in the shower Put a car air freshener clip on your heat register

Baking Soda. Poor some into the garbage disposal and let sit overnight, put a box in the fridge, sprinkle some on the carpets prior to vacuuming, add to washing machine when washing stinky laundry.

Tea. Tie tea bags to the rod in your closet. Absorbent Oats. Place a bowl of plain oats in your fridge to absorb odors.
