proactive, and affordable. We will also promote our end-to-end encryption, which is the latest in the evolution of Ring’s security and privacy features that gives users control and additional choices for encrypting and decrypting their videos. It is designed so that no unauthorised third party can access user video content.

What demand do you see for your solutions in the region? And what are you doing differently that sets you apart from other home security companies?

Ring is committed to keeping homes and communities safe and connected, and we hope to change the way homeowners view security by keeping an eye on their family and property. Ring re-imagined the doorbell so consumers could respond – using a smartphone – to someone at their front door at any time and from anywhere in the world, while simplifying the technology with the combination of App, Cloud and Security hardware.

Delivering privacy, security and control to our customers are foundational to achieving our mission. It drives our team to design and engineer not only the products you see today, but future features and innovations as well.

Ring is constantly innovating and introducing new products to the market. New security solutions for whole home security including security devices for cars are innovations customers can look forward to in the near future.

Security and privacy are a top priority for Ring. How are you integrating security into your products?

We are constantly innovating both our existing products and creating new ones to address various home security challenges. Recently, we have announced the end-to-end encryption, offering users control and additional choices for encrypting and decrypting their videos. We have included a mandatory twofactor authentication, which adds an extra layer of protection. Ring also provides login notifications, which let you know if a new device logs into your account. Even though the company provides its customers with these extra security measures, at the same time it’s important to boost your own security and have the most secure network passwords and account.

Can you elaborate on your plans for the regional market over the next few quarters?

We have seen a strong traction for Ring in the Middle East region and this trend is continuing to grow. Our plan is to expand our regional footprint further by making our products more accessible in Middle East and Africa by engaging the right value-added partners, investing more in markets like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain to name some, where we already have a strong presence. We are also adding a new line-up of products that will complement our current offering as well as open new opportunities in different target verticals.
