Basic Fire Fighting Safety
Course Description: This course we will look at the basic principles of fire, the risks it presents in the workplace and the main measures that should be taken to minimize those risks and the considered measures for the prevention and control of fire, and for the safe evacuation of premises. This course was developed using the OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.150 pertaining to fire safety. In addition to the topics outlined below, this course also covers the proper use of, and various types of firefighting equipment, proper storage of flammables and combustibles, and liquefied petroleum gases.
Who Should Attend? All employees, supervisors, manager's safety officers and engineers who have the fire safety responsibilities.
