Crane Operations Safety
Course Description:
This Crane Operations Safety was developed for those workers tasked with crane operation, and covers the knowledge needed by a worker to safely operate a variety of different crane types, including overhead, mobile, tower, and articulating cranes. This course, built from, and adhering to, the OSHA standard for Cranes and Derricks in construction – CFR 1926.1400 – will help to properly prepare an operator to do their job safely and correctly. Likewise, this course endorses the national certification program offered by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), and will prepare candidates for the CCO certification examinations.
Who Should Attend? This course is designed to meet OSHA and ASME B30.2 requirements for training training. Both designed for seasoned and novice crane operators alike as to benefit from the information concerning basic crane construction, rigging, crane controls, load swing and pre-operational inspections.
