Defensive Driving Safety
Course Description: Defensive Driving Safety was created to provide participants with proper knowledge and techniques to avoid accidents. The course also attempts to influence and challenge participants to change their behind the wheel behaviors and attitudes so that they will choose to drive safely, responsibly, and lawfully. Furthermore, this course is designed to foster defensive driving skills that keep drivers safe in high-risk, remote places.
Who Should Attend? All workers and personnel who have driving responsibilities, especially those who traveling from long distance and carrying hazardous substances and materials.
Benefits of the Course: At the end of the course, participant is expected to:

Explain the hazards and control measures for the safe movement of vehicles in the workplace;

Outline factors associated with driving at work that increase the risk of an incident and the control measures to reduce work-related driving risks; and

Demonstrate their understanding of the course by demonstrating at least 70 % competency of the topics to be covered.
