COURSE SUMMARY
A. Course Aim Environmental Waste Management (EWM) course is designed intended to ensure compliance to internal management system requirements and to regulatory requirements by:
Establishing safe working practices and eliminating common work site hazards waste and human error, shift handovers, fatigue and poor work practice;
Maintaining a safe system of work throughout changing conditions and environments using predefined rule sets to avoid conflicts and manage simultaneous operations; and
Demonstrating that work is being controlled to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) to meet internal management system requirements as a demonstration of compliance to the regulator.
B. Course Outcome The participants shall acquire knowledge and skill related to safety awareness of the workplace waste to manage and reduce related workplace accident or ill-health congruent with industry standards of competence. C. Course Objectives At the end of this course, participants should be able to demonstrate understanding of the content through application of knowledge to familiar and unfamiliar situations, In particular they should be able to: Describe the introduction about the basic Regulations of Environmental Waste Management; Describe the overview of Environmental Waste Management; Outline the basic requirements of Environment Waste Management; Demonstrate the emergency response procedure.

D. Target Group All persons who have responsibility to eliminate or manage the workplace waste and environmental issues and concerns such as: supervisors or fore mans, managers, HSE professionals and the personals who are involve in the related job. E.
Course Methodology This course shall be delivered in English and with combination of lecture/practical and team activity in the course format. While learning assessment shall be through to written test.

Course Prerequisite Candidates shall possess basic knowledge and understanding of the workplace hazards waste elimination and waste management procedure, responsibility, requirements and the emergency response.
