Don’t drink alcohol, especially on long-haul flights. You will only feel ten times worse on arrival.

WHAT AND WHEN WAS THE BEST HOLIDAY YOU EVER HAD?

A tough question. I love all holidays and appreciate the uniqueness of each destination. If I had to categorise, I would say, for a European city break, Krakow in Poland. For a non-European city break, it has got to be New York. One of the unique countries I have visited is Japan, and a place I would return to again and again is Singapore.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM HOLIDAY?

A trip to Cuba, so I can experience the roots of Cuban salsa dancing!

The Troodos Mountains, to experience the culture of Cyprus, escape the summer heat and enjoy the winter snow.
