Austrian Cultural Forum

Since 1976, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Budapest has served as a platform for cultural contacts between Hungary and Austria through the variety of its events. The Cultural Forum supports artists and projects in the fields of music, literature, performing and visual arts and film but also symposia and discussion events.

Czech Centre

The Czech Centre in Budapest was established in 1993 in the Zichy Palace in the sixth district of Budapest where the Czech (Czechoslovak) Embassy has been located since 1922. The main objective of the activities of the Centre is to develop a dialogue with the Hungarian public, especially by promoting Czecho-Hungarian cultural events.

Polish Institute In Budapest

As one of the oldest Polish Institutes in the world and one of the oldest foreign cultural institutes in Hungary, the Polish Institute in Budapest is presently involved in organising around 120-130 various programs each year, including such fields as culture, education and science.

Romanian Cultural Institute

The main objective of the Romanian Cultural Institute, a public body founded in 2003, is to raise the profile of important Romanian cultural works around the world. It tries to achieve this primarily by spreading information and carrying out cultural projects involving Romanian artists. At the same time, the Romanian Cultural Institute represents a channel of communication between Romanian cultural products and foreign audiences.

Slovak Cultural Institute

The Slovak Cultural Institute in Budapest is a Slovak state institution that aims to promote cultural relations between Slovakia and Hungary by nurturing the Slovak language and culture in Hungary and regularly organising cultural (scientific and artistic) events.

Embassy Of Slovenia

In terms of culture, the Embassy aims to promote mutual understanding in its work to implement Slovenian cultural policy. It strengthens contacts with relevant cultural institutions of Slovenia and the host country as well as with artists, who would like to show their work abroad.
