However, an accident and a tragic event bring these people together in a single night and most likely until the rest of their lives. For her performance, Mirjam Korbar received the Best Lead Actress Award at the Mostar Film Festival.

Vinko Möderndorfer is a Slovenian director and writer. His feature film Suburbs premiered in Venice and Montreal and has also been selected for the Karlovy Vary, Cannes and other festivals. The premiere of Deadlock took place at the FEST; for this film, Möderndorfer received the Best Director Award at the Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival in Egypt.
