isa Ashley is Director of Corporate Communications for the Port of Houston Authority. She is responsible for developing and managing internal and external communications. This includes corporate events, issues and crisis communications management, editorial, public awareness strategies and campaigns for the Port Authority. Ms. Ashley also serves as a spokesperson for the organization. A native Houstonian, Ms. Ashley earned a Bachelors of Arts in Speech Communications from Texas Southern University. She is a member of American Association of Port Authorities and serves as second Vice-Chair of its Public Relations Committee. Ms. Ashley is also a member of the Houston Association of Black Journalists, NAACP Houston

and Houston CHARMS. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Prior to joining the Port Authority in 2007, Ms. Ashley had a successful 17-year career at Fox 26 KRIV-TV/My 20 KTXH-TV and was its Community Affairs Director.
