McClure’s previous health care experience in the Houston area includes serving as director of provider contracting for two other local health plans, contract specialist for a Houstonarea independent physician association, and director of managed care services for Tenet Healthcare. She began her career as a systems analyst at Price Waterhouse.

As vice president of network management, she is responsible for provider relations, provider contracting, and provider services statewide. When she isn’t busy working, McClure enjoys golfing. She has been married for 22 years to Craig McClure, a Sales Director at Honeywell with a background in Chemical Engineering. Her daughter Melinda, 20, is studying Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University. Her son Michael, 18, is a senior at Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugar Land. She is a member of Parkway United Methodist Church and plays golf at the Houstonian Golf and Country Club in Sugar Land.
