Audio Visual systems, and Information

Technology EOP improvement. Darrance serves as CenterPoint Energy’s key Director and overall coordinator for developing and implementing technologies for collaboration tools alongside working with vendors and internal IT to coordinate and obtain resources and support.

Within strategic alignment, Darrance is responsible for incorporating current and emerging technologies in short and long-range plans to include technology integration, redesign or modification of systems.

Darrance currently holds a seat on the

Total Tech advisory Board influencing technology standards across all enterprise areas, Darrance speaks regularly on technology trends, optimized support concepts and managed service models in conferences and panels.

Darrance was named as one of the Top 40 influencers under 40 in June 2019 – Commercial Integrators Magazine, the business handbook for technology professionals. Before CenterPoint, Darrance held leadership positions at MCA Communications and Halliburton, as well as served as President of his own AV company. Darrance balances all of this ambition while being a devoted family man with three growing children.
