My official title is is Andranique Goodman, M.A., LPC but I prefer that you call me Nique. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, operating as the Clinical Director and Owner of The Inner Mind, a counseling group practice based in Texas. We are a diverse group of clinicians who serve Texas residents virtually or in-office at our Katy location (633 E Fernhurst Dr #1304 Katy TX 77450). I am a proud Houstonian, born and raised.

My educational background consists of receiving my bachelor’s from THE Texas A&M University and obtaining my Master’s from Houston Christian University (formerly known as Houston Baptist University). As a clinician, it is my passion to offer counseling services, scholarships for students, create mental health vlogs on social media platforms and host free community events promoting therapy. Combined, I have about 10 years of experience in the mental health field and continue to challenge myself with exploring new ways of evolving. In addition, I am the proud author of Hey, Be Calm (Journaling Workbook + Bonus Coloring Pages).

This journal was created with wellness in mind, to address ways of navigating through common life stressors while implementing encouraging affirmations to get readers through their day. This has been a huge hit and I continue to receive positive feedback on creating more journals for various populations.

Recently, I launched Autumn Jai, a clothing boutique in the Houston area. Autumn Jai is a Black owned clothing boutique specializing in exclusive plus timeless pieces. The brand’s vision came from my love for fashion and my daughters, Autumn, and Arya Jai. Raising young Queens to acknowledge their inner + outer beauty sparked the idea to carry this same principle for women worldwide. Hence, the birth of Autumn Jai. Outside of my work life, I spend time volunteering as a member of The Junior League of Houston. I am involved with multiple volunteer projects there to help rebuild the city. Community service is important for me as I completed a mission trip in Uganda, Africa. My plan is to continue serving the community, locally and globally. Through all of my accomplishments, nothing has been more satisfying than motherhood. Raising my two beauty Queens, Autumn, and Arya, has been my motivation to keep striving for greatness. Everything that I do, I do for them. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity and recognition. I hope to inspire others as I continue along in my journey.
