All Grown Up FROM DIAPERS TO… DETENTION 4… 3… 2… 1… Grow Up! It’s the babies you’ve come to know and love after 10+ years on the air. Only now, they’re All Grown Up. Tommy, Angelica, Phil and Lil and the rest of your Rugrats favorites are now preteens…going through the rigors of trying to find a place to fit in… ways to survive girl and guy trouble, finding their individuality… and making it through junior high. Braces and all. When they’re not hanging out at school, especially the cafeteria or the quad, you can usually find the gang at the neighborhood after-school hangout, the Java Lava cyber café, owned by Chuckie and Kimi’s parents. And along with the familiar Rugrats, Stu and Didi Pickles are here, Drew and Charlotte Pickles, too, Betty and Howard DeVille, the Finsters and the Carmichaels. Even Spike is around for more action, although he moves a bit slower! So sit back and tune in to the Rugrats ten years in the future, facing brand new adventures as they grow up, but not apart, in All Grown Up.
Tommy Pickles Now, rather than being the fearless leader of the group, he often lets others take over, content to just be part of the gang. But that doesn’t mean he’s boring. In fact, this budding filmmaker has been known to stir up a little controversy with his (sometimes) candid videos.

This reformed worry-wart is now becoming rebellious – but not too – in his quest to stop being “vanilla.” “Chuck” can sometimes be found bucking school rules by gluing the basketball team’s sneakers to the boys room ceiling, cutting class (by going to the nurse’s office) or making a copy of his butt on the school copy machine.

As a matter of fact, Vice Principal Pangborn once suggested to Stu and Didi that Dil might be a little too original. And that couldn’t make Didi more proud.

Acting ALL GROWN GROWN UP
All Grown Up isn’t just a show, it’s an attitude. And one that should come shinin’ through when you’re creating products around the show. The look comes at ya, it doesn’t lay flat... shapes and forms break the space, they’re not contained... designs are off-center, not smack-dab in the middle... with off set strokes and thick and thin outlines. So when you’re thinking about All Grown Up goodies and promo materials, get this:

iconic Kids and symbols just go together. So let 'em add some spice to your designs as graphic elements that give your products and packages a more stylized, sophisticated feel. You can use icons as holding shapes for copy on boxes, and as integral parts of design on products like watches (hey, put ‘em on the watch band!) and apparel.
Attitude Products and promotional stuff for All Grown Up should say it with attitude. You know, with in-your-face graphics, neon and metallic colors, wild patterns and innovative materials and fabrics that’ll make other kids say, “All that and then some!”
