MARK KEPPEL CLUB EVENTS

On July 2, there was a Rose Bowl 5k service opportunity for Rosemead Key Club members. The event took place at Pasadena from 5pm to 8pm. Key Club members helped prepare bags for the marathon runners. The bags included snacks, a medal, and water.

As the runners were almost at the finish line, we cheered them on and motivated them to continue. When the runners completed the marathon, the volunteers handed out water bottles and bags filled with goodies. It was inspiring for Key Clubbers to see the variety of different marathon participants, including young kids, dogs, and elders. Overall, assisting at the Rose Bowl 5K was an amazing experience.
