Hello Supervillains! Have you heard the big news?! Division 12 South officially has 13 ACTIVE clubs as of October! Great job to Live Oak for submitting their dues and Congratulations to University Preparatory Academy for being the new addition to our Supervillain Family! We are so proud of both LOKC & UPAKC so far and we can't wait to see what y'all have in store! Region Training Conference and Fall Rally North 2016 were ginormous successes! Shoutout to all of you who attended and transformed service into life at RTC & FRN! Not only did we spend a delightful day with Key Clubbers at Six Flags, we raised money for the Pediatric Trauma Program! On behalf of the District Board, we are thankful for your philanthropy and participation in the PTP Auction during the rally. S-U-P-E-R! SUPERSTAR IS WHAT YOU ARE! As we prepare for colder weather and our Thanksgiving Dinner, I would like to remind you that we are halfway through the 2016-2017 term! Ask yourself these questions: Have you fulfilled your goals? And what type of legacy do you want to leave? Keep in mind that you do not need to hold a leadership position or be an officer to make a change. Continue to be the AMAZING Key Clubbers you are and I am positive that you will achieve them! Be the change in our community and strive for the impossible. I am extemely grateful for you, your dedication, passion, and service for Key Club. Without you, we wouldn't be Division 12 South and we definitely wouldn't be the Schemin' Ohana we are now. So, thank you for all that you do! Speaking of DO, you should pay your DUES!!! In order for Key Club International & the CNH District to function, we as Key Clubbers must pay our dues of $11.50 so that we provide a foundation for our Club. PLUS! Quote of The Foam Glow 5k Run on October 15th was far better than I could have ever expected. I got to fill up bottles of glow slime and even throw some at runners. I helped check-in and direct runners to start lines and various locations. I was the youngest volunteer there, but that did not intimidate me. The work was surprisingly fun and enlightening because I learned how to use all this technology that businesses use to calculate the number of attendees. Despite the pouring rain and constant wind, it was a thrill because as I was working there was constantly electronic music blaring to bring up my mood. Several times I forgot I was volunteering and it makes you remember why you do all this in the first place. Carson Andrews, president
