So far, I been busy with key club (I don’t mind tho bc I love it), celebrating my bday which was on the 5th of July woo, playing volleyball, going to the gym, cooking, and taking lots of naps to cure my sickness of having not enough sleep. Oh I also got a tattoo so keep it a secret my friends. REMINDER, don’t do things in life that you regret my friends. Anyways, I BEG ON UPON THE NGUYEN DYNASTY THAT YOU ALL CAN COME TO MY BEACH SOCIAL. In June, there were several service opportunities: Wrigley River Run, Awesome 80’s Run, and Family Pride Picnic! Schools also hosted their own events.
Moreover, the Division had its first fundraiser at Ding Tea and another one at Frostbites! June was a successful month in terms of service and fundraising!
At June Bingo DCM, committee heads announced who got into their committees! The committees included publicity, fundraising, and spirit team! As all DCM’s do, members were able to interact with one another by completing dares on their bingo sheet!
The division's officers and members attended Super Smash BrO-TC!! Attendees were able to learn about different club positions as well as other essential Key Club information! Participation is thriving this term! KEY-Up the good work, Ninjas!

WRIGLEY RIVER RUN
At the Wrigley River Run, most key clubbers were in charge of cheering for runners, which was pretty fun! Some members handed out t-shirts and passed out medals instead. My favorite part of the event was seeing the little kids run. GUYS WHEN I TELL YOU THEY WERE SO SCHMOLL AND CUTE AHHHH!!! THEY WERE SO DETERMINED TO FINISH IT WAS ADORABLE!! We also saw some of our own members run in the race. Like one of our head spirit coords Vincent Santos and Poly Key Club’s Darin Hernandez-Meas!! After the event we all helped clean up and someone broke the finish bell. Its ok tho cuz I screwed it back in with my nail :)) We also got some pretty cool bubbles. Overall, 10/10 I would do the event again and seeing Ms. Lin happy that we were there made us happy! Also thank you so much to Collin Ewell from Wilson for being a pacer and the photographers for taking pictures of the event<33

RANCHO LOS ALAMITOS CLEAN-UP
eloise ocoboc | wilson | member
the Rancho we started by dusting cobwebs from the ceilings and sweeping out the milk barn. We then split up into two groups; one dusted one of the horses pens and the other group went to remove leaves from some machinery and dust out the barn. We ended the clean up by removing ivy from a fence in the back to make the Rancho look nicer and more clean.
SUMMER SPLASH: AOC7 RESOURCE FAIR esteban espinosa | rancho | historian
The event was a great way to reach out to the community and help the children start their summer off right! We provide families with educational and recreational items. Everyone who approach our booth didn’t even know what we were doing until we explained it and you could see them get happy about us providing free things for their children. It was really appreciated

BINGO DCM
Bingo DCM was a lot of fun. This DCM had all members discover committee results and participate in card making and bingo. The committees were announced first. These three committees were the publicity committee, spirit team, and fundraising committee. Next was the card making. Everyone made cards, writing encouraging words and drawing nice things on the cards. Last was Bingo. During the bingo event, everyone got in groups of 2-3 people and had to do as many tasks as they achieved. In the end, the winners of the bingo event were given a prize for winning the event!

SMASH BRO-TC 2022 matias | polytechnic | treasurer
Smash BrO-TC was in-person this year! For the past two years, Officer Training was virtual, making this event historic for Division 13! At OTC, officers members were able to learn more about their positions and other essential through the multiple presentations. For example, Historian & Editor presented with D13N Ryan Sok), How to Be a Leader, Public Speaking, Key just to name a few! Attendees were also able to interact with new the event was with Division 13 South, North, and West! Overall, Super BrO-TC was super fun! I enjoyed being apart of the planning process and program with fellow editors! Behind the scenes, I was able to interact Division Leadership Teams and establishing new bonds! I can’t wait for Training Conference to meet more people in Region 8!

Recently the St. Anthony Key Club has been keeping it low-key and simple this summer as they participate and host in local fundraisers both in and outside campus. The Saints are eager for their further plans as the rest of the summer awaits, planning more ways to spread love and the Key Club spirit!
WILSON | ashley oviedo
What’s poppin ninjas, I’m Ashley Oviedo and I proudly serve as Wilson key club’s president for the 22-23 term! This past month Wilson had been participating in most of not all division events. All our officers attended the OTC in which we learned new lessons and skills in order to improve how we lead! As well, we have been prioritizing looking for fundraisers and service events for the upcoming month in order to help our club grow. Furthermore, our club has improved tremendously on newsletters so you should check out May’s newsletters and watch out for June’s release!
