Hey Caring Caribous, My name is Maliny Khuon and I am overjoyed to be serving you as your lieutenant governor for the 2021-2022 term. My nickname is "Mal". I can not wait to see what the new term will bring. I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you! I want to personally get to know everyone but due to certain circumstances, I can not. Anyways, let me enlighten you with some fun facts about me. I LOVE gummy sharks. They are hands down the best thing to exist. In my free time, I enjoy watching anime & kdramas. (Please give me recommendations) I listen to practically everything but I have a soft spot for lofi. My favorite artist is Keshi.

Last term, I served River Valley as their spirit coordinator and editor. Although the term was fully virtual, I enjoyed every moment. My goals for the following term are to have 330 dues-paid members, 3000 service hours, and $1500 raised for PTP. I am certain that we can surpass all of my goals this term. Although we are starting this term in the middle of a pandemic, I sense a great future. Let's endure the rest of this and get back to normal as soon as possible. For now, let's donate as much rice as possible. :) Stay safe & mask up caribous!

Prancing with service, Maliny Khuon Division 14 Lieutenant Governor 2021-2022

There isn’t anything new to report for my club. Since there is not much time left in the school year we are holding off on any new service events.

Club River Valley

We had an officer meeting a couple weeks ago where almost everyone I believe showed up. We are also participating in the ribbon leis D14 project.

Live Oak

Everything is moving in a positive way, officers have been keeping in contact and service has been getting done even with the restrictions. We are planning fundraisers and service events for the summer.

Reports Yuba City

We haven’t done many service projects yet, but we are planning to sell candy leis at the Yuba City High School graduation at the end of this month. Our advisor is going to leave so finding an alternative has been very difficult. Communication within the officers has been great, but we haven’t had many opportunities to connect with members.
