Aloha Moons!

It was so incredible seeing you all at Region Training Conference. I hope that the Region Team and I have given you some amazing memories that you won’t forget, and that you learned useful information that will aid you throughout your time in Key Club as well as your high school career. But most importantly, I hope you met some other Key Clubbers in our region as those are the friendships that can TRULY last a lifetime! Congratulations to West CTA for winning the division spirit stick and I’m so proud of you for winning the region stick to show our region who is THE BEST division!

As the major events are coming to an end, please stick around Key Club as there is plenty more to look forward to! Stay tuned to see some upcoming events hosted by our division and DEFINITELY attend our upcoming joint Division Council Meeting.

Shining Brightly Into Service, Ann Margaret De Guzman

Asian Night Market was a BLAST and was made successful with the help of WCTA Key Club’s volunteers. Those who came were able to get $10 worth of free, delicious food made by local AAPI vendors here in the valley. Besides Gyu Sandos, Shang Mian, Cafe Maiko, and the International Market, the 4000+ visitors at ANM had fun with carnival games, watching performances, and of course, hanging with friends.

I loved the homecoming parade. It was amazing being able to shout cheers for the little kids and their families. I met some people from Key Club I’ve never met before and they were all so nice. It was great to see and meet other clubs and see their amazing floats. It made me feel closer to the Key Club members who attended.

Participating in the Shadow Ridge parade on October 14 was really fun. Our Key Club members were able to get a feel for what cheering loudly is. Many of our members helped create posters, spirit sticks, and make props for the homecoming float. We saw our members talk to one another and get to know each other. Overall, the homecoming float was a success, our members had fun and cheered very loud!
