AMBOO ULLETINB
HEY HEY RED PANDAS!
Welcome to the second issue of the Bamboo Bulletin! This month’s newsletter is based on the beach! I chose this theme because the hot weather reminds me of the coolness of the beach! Summer is a great time to rest, but also to participate in many service projects and opportunities. This month we had the American Graffiti Parade Set-up, Charity Miles, and of course, UNO-TC! Thank to all who showed up. I hope you all learned something new about Key Club. I know I had a fantastic time teaching and meeting new Key Clubbers from both divisions! An additionally thanks to those who applied to be apart of the Publicity Committee. I look forward to interviewing you all!
Climbing the bamboo stick of service, D46N DNE 24-25 term
Welcome back to our monthly newsletter! I hope we have all been taking this time off to have some fun, make great memories and of course participate in service projects. Recently our division held our Officer Training Conference (UNO-TC) with Division 46 South which educated our officers for the new term on service, Key Club and their general responsibilities. We also just had our June DCM yesterday which was also with Division 46 South. If you missed your chance to get to know members of Division 46 South, then don’t worry because you’ll get another chance to get to know people outside of our division during our Region Training Conference in September!
We are currently holding an infographic service project that focuses on promoting Health and Safety as per our District Spotlight on Service so make sure to make some infographics for an easy service opportunity. We also just closed our applications for our division publicity committee but don’t worry. If you still want a chance to serve on a division committee then you still have the chance too with Spirit Committee Applications that will be released very soon on the division Instagram so make sure to keep an eye out for it.
If you ever have any questions or concerns about anything then please feel free to let me know. I will always be available to answer any questions so do not hesitate to reach out!

“On May 29th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Vanguard College Prep Academy, the division hosted the May DCM, which was the first DCM of the new term with the new LTG Aarushi Vyas. During the DCM agenda, the LTG discussed old business, new business, awarded monthly recognition, celebrated monthly birthdays, and inaugurated the new division leadership team (DLT). After that, attendees got to enjoy some pizza and other snacks with their friends and meet new people from other schools in the division. I highly recommend attending DCMs in the future because it’s a great chance to meet new people and make connections outside your home club in a safe and welcoming environment.” -

This time around, a collection of members from the local Key Clubs prepared for the big day at the MJC West Campus, focused on many odd jobs littered across the school. From pop-up tents to trashcan setup, the division provided their support. Next time, D46N hopes to continue to go above and BEEyond!” - Ryder Barrios VCPA
“On the sun-filled Friday of June 5th, D46N banded together to assist and set up the 25th annual American Graffiti Festival put on by our very own North Modesto Kiwanis Club. The classic car show brings in families, enthusiasts, and local businesses, all under the common interest of enjoying vintage vehicles.

She mentioned how she was moving in and she needed a hand, moving furniture out of her UHAUL and into her house. Even though it was extremely hot, our teamwork prevailed, moving different tables, couches and chairs through her front door. We spent a few hours rearranging and walking around her house making sure that everything fit into place. To me, this was a prime opportunity to uphold the Objects of Key Club International and to build not only my community, but the relationships with others. Henry Yong Enochs High School
“Stranger Danger” is what we all grew up learning. If you don’t know the person, then don’t talk to them is what was drilled into our minds. However, I could not resist offering a helping hand to my elderly neighbor. Despite this being my first time meeting her, she was so sweet and kind to me as I walked by after playing basketball.
MOVING DAY MOVING DAY
The Gregori Key Club officer team participated in this term’s first board meeting alongside the Kiwanis advisor Nan Jacobs and the faculty advisor Paul Herrera. In the meeting, the president Leena Gupta discussed old business, new business, tasks, division and club goals, communication reminders, and other announcements. Overall, the meeting was intended to kickstart the term’s planning early in the summer and ensure that the officer team was acquainted with one another. I think the meeting was incredibly smooth and concise, and I definitely think we covered everything that I planned beforehand. I hope the rest of the board meetings we have this term are just as, or even more so, productive and valuable. I highly recommend running for an officer position in the future to be a part of club planning during board meetings. Leena Gupta Gregori High School

On May 28th, from 11am to 9pm, the division held the Teaspoon Fundraiser, in which members and their friends and family could come to the local Teaspoon place and purchase items. The money would go directly towards Key Club charities such as the Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP). I went to the fundraiser in the morning with my sister and a friend, where we got boba and macaroons. We ran into another Gregori officer, which was an amazing coincidence and I was so happy to see other officers participating in fundraising over the summer. Overall, I would highly recommend that members go to division fundraisers like this one in the future because they’re so simple and fun, and of course they also contribute to the success of the division and the wellbeing of the community.
