Kira Adele Dixon Johnson, an adventurous, vivacious young business woman who chartered English speaking schools in China, loved the thrill of piloting small airplanes, and became a certified skydiver, entered eternal life on April 13, 2016 at the age of 39. After marrying the love of her life, Charles Spurgeon Johnson IV, the couple enjoyed every moment of their life together, traveling to Paris, Colombia, Costa Rica, Italy, the Grand Prix in Monaco and many other beautiful destinations around the globe. Their love for each other was only matched by the love for their two sons, Charles V and Langston. Kira, daughter of Wayne and Dierdre Dixon, was born in New York on June 23, 1976. She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Towers High School in 1994. After attending West Georgia College, she used her creative spirit and business acumen to create several successful ventures domestically as well as internationally. As a young entrepreneur, she encouraged and motivated other young women to fulfill their potential by following their passions. Kira’s infectious smile, joyful laughter, genuine compassion toward people and her sweet demeanor captured the hearts of all who where graced by her presence. Even if you did not remember everything she said or did, you always remembered how she made you feel. Kira is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Gladys Gloria Worthy and Emile Joseph Worthy Sr. She is survived by her husband, Charles Spurgeon Johnson IV; her sons, Charles Spurgeon Johnson V and Langston Emile Johnson; her parents, Dierdre Dixon and Wayne Dixon; her paternal grandparents, Philixie and Willie Lee Dixon; her siblings, Duane (Liz) Dixon, Trevis Dixon, and Kenton (Jennifer) Dixon; her nieces and nephews, Nadia, Korrine, Raquel, Silas and Trenton Dixon; her aunts, Rosemarie “Auntie” (Michael) Robinson and Charlta Lord; her uncles, Emile Worthy Jr., Darryl (Denise) Dixon, and Lee (Forest) Dixon; her many first cousins (Dixon, Megginson, Robinson and Worthy); in-laws Glenda Hatchett, Charles Spurgeon (Sondra) Johnson III, Christopher Johnson, and Grandma Clemmie Hatchett; and a host of extended family members and friends. She is also survived by her four-legged friend, “Lucky.”
