BANADIR SPORTS CLUB WINS 2015-2016 NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE UNBEATEN

efending champions Banadir Sports Club who rewrote history in 2013-2014 when they won the country’s top national football league unbeaten have once again did the same record to take the trophy unbeaten for the 2015-2016 season. Banadir who are one of the strongest football clubs in the country regained their unbeaten record once again after falling to win the league in the 2014-2015 football season. But they won the 2013-2014 season unbeaten to rewrite an age-old history. They became the only football club in Somalia who gained unbeaten record in more than half a century.
Football records in Somalia show that Gaadiidka formerly known as AUTOBAR was the first football club in Somalia who won the league
unbeaten and that was in 1956. But in recent history, it is Banadir sports club who are enjoying two national league titles unbeaten.
