Come enjoy a delicious BBQ meal from Wallaby’s during this year’s Family Western BBQ. The cost will be $5 per plate. The BBQ starts at 4:30 p.m. and will go until 7 p.m. or when the food runs out, whichever one comes first! Entertainment during the event will be provided by country artist and songwriter Maddie Wilson. Wilson has shared the stage with country stars Chris Young, Lonestar and Danielle Bradbery, rock sensation Imagine Dragons, and mega YouTube artist Lindsey Stirling. She has performed at famous Nashville venues that include the Gaylord Opryland Resort, Basement East, Listening Room and Bluebird Cafe. She emotionally connects to listeners with her heartfelt lyrics and vocals. Fans have described Maddie’s live performance as producing a “sugar rush to the brain” while eliciting real emotion. Wilson has performed live on television, XM radio and AM/FM radio. Her songs have been played worldwide on terrestrial radio and internet music providers iTunes, Spotify, and Pandora. She has earned many recognitions for her skillfully creative songwriting, landing finalist spots in two national songwriting competitions. Her unique sound and broadly appealing lyrical selection has secured licensing agreements with America’s Got Talent, QVC, Bose, Priddis Music and Braven Audio. Wilson is a young yet experienced professional, an exceptional vocalist, writer, performer and an accomplished musician. A small town girl with country roots and Christian values, she loves her yellow dog, riding horses and motorbikes and hanging out with family and friends. Wilson’s single “Love Like Theirs,” debuted in November 2016, climbed to #14 on iTunes’ New Country charts and reached more than 1.5 million views on her social media channels. “Love Like Theirs” is also featured on Wilson’s second album “Keep Up With Me”, released April 2017. Wilson has quickly become in high demand with a diverse and rapidly growing fan base. She is active on social media where she posts music, videos and updates for more than 200,000 fans and followers.
