That is likely one reason Schlosser Orthodontics earned the Best Orthodontist award for Best of the Parkland.
Dr. Collin Schlosser decided to return home to the Parkland with his wife and family after an almost 10-year journey that culminated in a specialty certificate in orthodontics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Following four months of renovating a local building at the corner of Maple and Potosi Streets in Farmington, Schlosser Orthodontics opened in April 2021.
Support from the community was better than Schlosser could have anticipated throughout his first year. In fact, his practice went into hyperdrive with the acquisition of Dr. Rodney Rhodes’ orthodontic office in December.
“There were, of course, some growing pains with the transition,” he said, “but I have been truly fortunate to have found some incredibly talented team members to continue serving the community with.”
As an orthodontic specialist, Schlosser’s focus is to utilize traditional braces or modern techniques such as Invisalign to create healthy, esthetic smiles and provide a comfortable, functional bite.
“Misaligned teeth can create difficulties in regard to cleaning the teeth and can cause abnormal wear to the tooth enamel over time,” he said. He said his staff prioritizes treating each patient with the individualized care they deserve and strive to offer technologies and treatment modalities which suit their case the best. They offer a modern orthodontic practice experience with newer technologies while still providing a warm, friendly environment that makes the small-town businesses the best.
He said, “It’s never too late to create a more healthy, functional bite and beautiful smile no matter your age.”
