The business, owned by Janet Phegley and Josh Harris, opened in 1996. The two became partners in 2008. What started as a sporting goods store with fishing and hunting gear has evolved into a large powersports dealer over time.

Midwest Sports Center has been located in the same shop for 26 years.

When customers are searching for a new ATV, they can choose from new inventory or pre-owned items and utilize secure financing with competitive interest rates with additional accessories included in the total package if desired.

Top-selling ATVs include Polaris Ranger RZR and Can-Am Defender Kawasaki MULE.

“Our main priority is customer service,” said Andrew Blunt, of the sales department. “We want our customers to be happy so they come back and also tell their friends about their experience at our stores.”

Blunt said it doesn’t matter if a customer is purchasing a $40,000 side-by-side or a $10 part because the staff truly cares about the customers and their experience, regardless of their budget.

Besides purchasing power sports, customers can schedule service appointments online or by phone and order accessories by filling out an online parts request form.

Midwest Sports Center makes their customers the focus of their business and always strives to put their needs first.

The three Midwest Sports Center locations in Farmington, Festus and Popular Bluff are locally owned and operated.
