undreds of flyers featuring an email sent by an account ozyellowbrickroad1@gmail.com were posted across campus on Tuesday morning, stamped with “THIS IS WHAT RAPE CULTURE LOOKS LIKE” and “WE ARE WATCHING.” Within hours, the flyers spawned an outpouring of reprisals on social media and a response from the University administration. The flyers included part of an Aug. 31 email sent to an undisclosed list of recipients. It had the subject line “Wild Wednesday” and included a poem addressed to “ladies,” which read in part, “May we have your attention please/We’re looking for the fun ones/And say f—k off to a tease.” Similar emails with poems and CARSON KAHOE | PHOTO EDITOR

After witnessing an alleged assault and falling victim to an alleged robbery inside her dorm room, one Penn graduate student started a GoFundMe campaign to alleviate her financial situation. Engineering geology student Mizane Johnson-Bowman recounted this incident on her GoFundMe crowd-source fundraising page, titled “Adey’s Fund After Assault & Robbery.” She did not respond to a request for comment on this article. The Division of Public Safety said it has conducted a full investigation on this incident and is working to assist the student with the help of the Division of the Vice Provost for University Life. A regional communications manager at GoFundMe told The Daily Pennsylvanian the company does work with local law enforcement in cases involving criminal activity, such as this one. On her GoFundMe page, Johnson-Bowman said only two weeks after arriving at Penn to begin her master’s degree, one of her roommates pulled

Playing to a nearly full lecture room in Huntsman Hall, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards addressed millennial voters in another attempt by the Clinton campaign to reach out to the youth at the University. In an event organized by Penn for Hillary, Richards minced no words when discussing the implications of the Nov. 8 election.

Yes, I know, I’m a miserable curmudgeon. But I think I’ve actually got a case here.”

“I’m doing everything I can to make sure that Hillary Clinton is the next President,” Richards said in her opening remarks, earning a round of applause by students in attendance. In what amounted to a town hall format, Richards did not hesitate to take questions from students. When one student asked her to address outreach to supporters of Clinton’s primary opponent, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Richards stressed that, in her view, there were only two real choices for the presidency, and only one that made sense. SEE CAMPAIGN PAGE 3
