World’s oldest woman clocks 129 on May 29

On the same day in far away Chechnya, a southern Russian Republic, Koku Istambulova, will turn 129 years. Like most Nigerian masses who will be full of lamentations and
clamour for a better country, the world’s oldest woman says her upcoming birthday is nothing but ‘punishment’. The UK Daily Mail newspaper quoted her as saying that she has not had a single happy day in her entire life, and has no idea how she has managed to live this long.
