MODULE 1
How to draw a croissant
MODULE 1
ABOUT
The aim of this module is exploring representation through orthographic and axonometric drawings, and considering the depth, texture and lineweight in shading

and line-using works. During projection,

to represent the actual croissant as accurate as possible. During, the progress, light shooting and the angle of photograph taking should be consisded carefully for providing accurate shape, shade and its original color in drawing.

AXONOMETRIC PROJECTIONS
Using grid to set the point on the edge of the croissant sections, then put the vertical axis for setting each sections on the outline structure of the bottom. The title of grid should use carefully to ensure the accurate and correct axonometric. Using tiny symbol to explain the section place. 6

MODULE 2
ABOUT
The aim of this module is to develop the axonometric projection as well as digital drawings and treatment in using photoshop. And also develop the transformation between the picture in two dimentional view to the drawing in three dimentional view. Uising front and back Mario world to creating a square 3D world, during the process need to draw axonometric of the plan view, then rotated into 45 dgreet to color the line work in using Adobe illustrator. Considering about the depth of line and color choose, thinking about the shading and light degree to ensure the project close to reality. Creating the second world and other decoration used to enriched the integeral view.
9
TRIAL
initial axonometric of first ground world, added decoration and small individual model to enrich the world
AXONOMETRIC
initial axonometric of second ground world, created in imagination, considered the occusion relations between two layers. axometric of the small individual island added, added string to link the two world as a whole
10
FINAL DRAWING
In the final progress need to creat adventure stories and living imagination to make the mario world more reality and motional. leaving a bit of hidden space, whcih can allowed re-creation and imagination to be continue in later

MODULE 3 PATTERN VS SURFACE
12
MODULE 3
ABOUT
The aim of module 3 is to illustrate a transition between two-dimentional orthographic representation to threedimentional modelling by the exploration of pattern and survaces. For better understanding about surface, creating on curved surface as basement and the to design different relationship between modules and surface. Using triangular and squre to creat a integrated view to understanding the relation ship between patterns and surface. Paper choosed is a good choice for this module. The digital design could be developed as well as handworking ability. So it is not necessary to create very complex pattern in digital design, focusing more on height and size changing, and the distribution of the patterns This tase explored the transition from a design concept to a three-dimentional modelling fabriction.
13
DIGITAL PROGRESS
The progress for creating three dimentional models and patterns, in pyramids.
The first step ---the given plan surface used as the project’s basement, established the evenly points in 10x10 distribution.
the final project created by Rhino, use 5 different patterns in variable height, and distirbute the patterns in to a dorp looklike.
14
JIONING WORK
the layout of the 2-dimentianal patterns, for 5 types 3d patterns but the size and height are different.
Using pyrimads as the most basic pattern for whole surfaces, arranging different sizes pattern for better look like

MODULE 4 FRAME VS FIELD
16
MODULE 4
ABOUT
The module 4 aim to use persepective images and isometric notations to illustrates story of Macro polo so that explore the notions of field and frame. Travellor went in to the left entrance and cross the bridge to the market, which described in heavy environment. He noticed that there are plenty of people in the market and went to a dinner, crossed a second river and participated with them. A lot of people were sit near the table, which described in lighter environment.
17
In this perspective, it shows that Marco stayed in a market. Most of people are from many countries, travelling here or doing business here. one situation is that there is a lady selling her products; one is that there are several people playing the horn. the situation behind is that there are a group of bussiness man on the camel. As we can see, the sky is bule but the maket is dark(so mant people, crowded). For form the background and this perspective view together, add clouds.(seems like floating in from outside). (Darker)
18
in this perspective, traveller participated in a grand dinner, in this dinner, different young man and girls meet each other and their parents dicuss the marriage about their son and daughter. To decorate the environment, i used flowers , cane vine, ceilling and rivers to full the situation. There is a big garden and alley behind the Quad.Beautiful sunny day and there is cloud cross the buildings. All the characters are in the Medieaval time, European people. This situation is rarely relaxed and happy, so the picture is in cheerful tones(lighter)

REFLECTION
This subject gives me plenty of help and guidance for creating project in design, the skills about drawing and digital paiting developed a lot during four different module learning. Throughout the whore semester, my understanding about representation became more clear and developed. In module 1, it help me in better understanding about the line work in depth, stroness, shading aspect , and also the relationship between the ouline, sketching and color. In this module, I started take approach to the picture treatment like adjecting the light degree. In module 2, it help me to trasfer 2-dimentinal view to 3-dimentiinal building in uising 2 pictures at front and back. Giving more guidance for creating a integral world in imagination. In module 3, digital using like Rhino started help me in creating three dimentional patterns, understanding the relationship between patterns and surfaces.Besides, the model made by paper started understand the linkage between model and material choose. In module for, as a architecture student, it is an attempt to built a model like architecture, the space and perspective viewing give me help in spacial thinking.
