“... so thankful for Udder Comfort.” — Randy Peterson

MISTY MEADOWS GUERNSEYS — WILSON, WISCONSIN 30 Registered Guernseys — 21,000 m 890 f 687 p — SCC: 220-300,000 PETERSON FAMILY — Randy (above) with son Chris and daughter Jaclyn at the halter of World Dairy Expo Grand Champion Guernsey Misty Meadows Adacka Pixie. Not pictured are Randy’s wife Kelly Jo and sons Jake, Curt and James and daughter Janelle. At Misty Meadows, Wilson, Wisconsin, Randy Peterson has long relied on Udder Comfort™ for his purebred Guernseys. Daughter Jaci’s homebred four-year-old Pixie had a very successful show run this year. Randy says they’ve been “so thankful for Udder Comfort.” After earning Grand and Supreme at the Wisconsin State Fair, Pixie was out with the heifers and bull for breeding. Unexpectedly, her udder swelled up “hard like a fist” just one week before the Minnesota State Fair. “We put our faith in Udder Comfort. We put it on her udder after every milking, three times a day. It brought the swelling down, and she got over her problem with no mastitis,” says Randy, adding that the EX-92 Pixie, with a 94pt. mammary and 305-day record over 31,000, went Grand at Minnesota State Fair. Pixie then went on to be Grand Champion of both the Open and Junior International Guernsey Shows at the 2012 World Dairy Expo—something the Petersons have worked for since starting their herd in the 1980s.

“Udder Comfort is part of our program. If a quarter has swelling, we use Udder Comfort until it is gone. If we see flakes in the milk, we use Udder Comfort continuously until a week after signs are gone. We have 80-90% success by using this product proactively. “You can see what it does,” adds Randy’s son Chris. “We like both the lotion and the spray. Both are easy, convenient, and get results.”

THE CROPCUTTER® SYSTEM ROTO-CUT MODEL The CropCutter® rotary feeding and cutting system is unique to the BR7070. This system uses up to 15 knives to cut crop as it is fed into the baler to create heavy bales with maximum density. In silage, it results in enhanced fermentation. In straw, it results in easier spreading and increased absorbency. No matter what the crop, bales made with CropCutter put more crop in every bale — translating to fewer bales per field, fewer bales to transport and store. That’s productivity. The CropCutter® system produces bales that are more dense and heavy due to the smaller particle length. In silage, this increased compaction means less air in the bale for better fermentation and outstanding feed quality.

MORE PRODUCTIVITY, DECREASED COSTS. NEW T8 SERIES TRACTORS GIVE YOU BOTH. Cursor 9L engines feature New Holland EcoBlue™ technology using SCR to meet stringent Tier 4A emissions compliance. These engines feature ultimate “breathability.” They breathe clean, fresh air for optimal combustion and signifi cant performance advantages. Compared to previous models, T8 tractor operating costs are 10% lower—even when the cost of AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is taken into account.
