Cloud base project

The DoD will have ubiquitous control of all information, data and content generated from Fallen 66 outreach. The Fallen 66 http://s172518151.onlinehome.us/fallen/site/ will be built for DoD as a complete plug and play portal, and can managed by DoD if it chooses. The additional ROI will be realized in a Cloud based solution that will provide increased benefit illustrated later in this proposal.

TRADITIONAL BENEFITS

DoD will expand its reach to large audiences, including aviation consumer via our September-‐November events. Our tactics will allow us to reach them where they live via key/search words that target highly valued prospects for recruitment and retention in a non-‐commercial way. Through a partnerships in development with universities such as Embry-‐ Riddle, the DoD will have partnership access to students, ambassadors, and industry influencers who the DoD can then socialize and educate them via messaging on the DoD’s support role (awareness and completion) of the Fallen 66 campaign for Memorial Day, 2013. DoD will have unlimited access to content (photos, data, memoirs, oral history) about the Tuskegee Airmen that far surpasses any other vetted site on the Tuskegee Airmen Experiment 1941-‐49. The Fallen 66 portal will provide a one-‐stop shop for archived material that will dispel mythology, yet encourage and enable third parties to engage in channels of exchange of information, stories, and community via social media. Example the inclusion of women, non-commissioned officers, and the war-dead. NEXT LEVEL BENEFITS FEATURING CLOUD

The Fallen 66 portal is built on a Cloud based solution for content management; and as such will offer the DoD web and business solutions that will allow faster and less expensive mass penetration market visibility for accessing the rights we exchange to the DoD for marketing the Fallen 66 library of content. The Cloud based solution that is embedded in Fallen 66 will provide advanced capabilities to promote, distribute and collateralize the content to prospective recruits to the DoD, especially using events such as Social Media Week. In other words, by distributing cloud applications the DoD will be enabled to quickly upload, update, share, distribute, market and promote the licensed Fallen 66 content via cloud services, and this most important return on investment benefit. Ease of use and accessibility in the changing promotional and marketing world is the obvious benefit as devices such as Smartphone's, readers, tablets, remote kiosks, hand held devices and connected apps are all critical path vehicles that utilize cloud and the benefits to DoD will be increased capacity to connect to the Fallen 66 content on all platforms known and unknown. Cloud services will provide ubiquitous content management, usage and visibility advantages while consolidating services and process and while reducing what would otherwise be very costly. Cost savings from using cloud services – resources for hosted content for both uploading and accessing via web sites, portals and social media repositories saves time and money by utilizing public/private cloud infrastructure. Through virtualization and consolidation, they can reduce the number of servers running in-‐house or hosting of secured content, which will reduce the number of racks used significantly. This can generate up to 70% ROI for a Tier 3 workload and about 50% for Tier 1. Cost Savings from Labor and software – Huge savings can be had through the labor reduction brought by reducing hardware infrastructure, software distribution (mobile, desktop, hybrid). This includes savings from the development and maintenance of applications and hardware. There is also a highly reduced need for installed software, as cloud-‐hosted software can be made available to any device with an Internet connection, which significantly lowers the required budget for software. LARGE Cost savings from hosting – the spending budget for hosting infrastructure is made evident quickly. Hosting in-‐premises means acquiring your own hardware, which is considered as a capital expenditure and could be quite large. While availing of cloud hosting is considered as an operational expenditure because of its subscription or pay-‐per-‐use model. The speed of adaptation and deployment of the cloud service versus the maintenance and upgrade costs and downtimes of the old system is a huge cost effective benefit. Deploying how large organizations such as: the DoD will manage and distribute content such as the Fallen 66 is a huge benefit in terms of connected apps and how to get the content into CMS (content

management systems) without having all of the barriers that create a challenge for NON-‐proficient editors, updaters and consumers. The general ease of use and dynamic usage of cloud is superior, more flexible and scalable while coping with the ever-‐changing business needs and goals of NEW marketing, promotion and content distribution solutions. Less risks involved with processing and storing data offsite and not having to worry about the back end of the systems. Secure infrastructure at reduced cost obvious savings with reduced infrastructure to manage and maintain while increasing availability of nodes, repository and content management system solutions. Easy to adapt commerce model and solutions for instant access that is secure and interoperable. In general: ROI is not simply measured through the savings in terms of monetary value. The best measurement of the ROI of cloud computing and the solutions that we offer is reduced cost for monetization solutions, marketing, promotion, visibility and commerce strategies. ROI doesn’t always look very enticing when cloud computing is concerned unless you are in the business of creating global mass-‐market content distribution management systems or scalable content based advertising. This is why the DoD and its administrators should be looking at the apparent values that come in many forms when employing cloud computing. CONCLUSION: The world has changed overnight for businesses and advertisers. The way we do business is no longer determined by how you license content, yet by how you manage, maintain and are able to rapidly disseminate advertising, campaign, promote and deploy sustainable subscription or buy now, sign up now, register now solutions. Yet having the ability to rapidly deploy, build and manage systems is Holy Grail in this ever-‐changing global environment. The Cost-$ (The Value-Priceless)
