Tensions, among other things, rise when the men of Sparta and Greece are given an ultimatum. During a war with no end in sight, the women of Greece deny their husbands carnal pleasures in hopes to quell their lust for war.
Young James goes off on an adventure into a land of spiders, earthworms and one giant peach. Although, it will not be an easy journey for him, James perseveres with confidence and enthusiasm accompanied by such friends as a ladybug, a centipede, and a grasshopper.
The December Dance Concert; highlighting the work of world renowned guest artists, Wayne State University faculty, and the raw and evolving talent of its emerging student choreographers. This expansive concert features select dynamic works and student pieces.

A Raisin in the Sun is a timeless representation of hope and inspiration, of divergent dreams and conflicts within. A black family struggles to retain their dignity as they face racism when moving to an all-white neighborhod in 1950s America.
The 87th Annual Spring Dance Concert is rooted in a culturally diverse community. The Artist-In-Residence program features national and international artistry, providing an expansive environment for our emerging artists to develop.
A handsome cowboy competes with an illtempered ranch-hand for the affection of a lovely young farm girl in this timeless gem of American musical theatre, containing one of the most famous dance sequences of all time and won Rodgers & Hammerstein a Pulitzer Prize.
