Sky farm is a non governmental organization that aims to turn Artas into an eco friendly land. Sky farm is created to replace the agricultural lands lost and confiscated by the Israeli people and implement green roofs on houses. Building a community garden on roofs is an essential part of our solution. It increases the education and improves the social network between people
Our Mission Create a modern solution for Artas by providing green roof gardens that will connect Artas’ people together as well as providing a safer environment with less pollution
Our Vision A healthy and sustainable system in the region of Artas to provide good living conditions by encouraging local food markets and enhancing the social networking between the whole community
Short term impacts & Long term impacts Temperature reduction of rooftops, driving down cost of electrical heating energy, reduced air pollution, outlet for roof leaks, better building aesthetic, availability of biofuels, food security and increased local production and sales
