elcome to the second annual DP Times Best of Dana Point People’s Choice Lantern Awards, our annual celebration of Dana Point’s favorite businesses, services and places as selected by you, the readers. We received almost 2,000 votes over the past month—doubling last year’s response—through online polls and mailed in ballots. After a careful tallying , we have compiled your results here in this handy pullout section. We hope that you will keep it and refer to if often in the coming year when you’re looking for a new place to dine, shop or play in Dana Point. It is also chock full of great service providers, so whether you need a dry cleaner or a mechanic, we hope you will find this information valuable in your efforts to shop locally. Make sure to look for the distinctive Gold and Silver Lantern Award stickers in the windows of all of our winners and tell them you read about them (or maybe even voted for them) in the DP Times. This entire pullout section will be available online at www.danapointtimes.com for the entire year. —Andrea Swayne 2009 Best of Dana Point | Page 1 | www.danapointtimes.com
