General Objective: The students will be able to demonstrate, apply, identify and recognize habits (present simple), lexical vocabulary (sports, food, illnesses, etc.), adverbs of frequency and quantity, connectors, etc. Specific Objectives Reading:​ the students will be able to read simple texts recognizing vocabulary and specific information. Speaking: ​ The students will be able to express themselves through phrases and short dialogues. Listening​ : the students will be able to hear dialogues and identify specific information. The same as the recognition of lexical vocabulary and specific lexical categories. Writing:​ the students will write and develop short texts and descriptions of their personal likes and dislikes related to the unit content. Previous Knowledge ­ ­ ­ ­ ­

Adjectives and adverbs of frequency and quantity. Vocabulary: Sports, Illnesses, healthy and unhealthy food, etc. Verbs.

Activities Reading​ : Short readings to find very specific information and vocabulary involved. Make puzzles or play games with vocabulary after reading. Try to define some unknown words. Board races with the lexical vocabulary involved in the


readings. Complete charts with specific information from the readings,etc. Listening: ​ Dictations, short dialogues, board races after hear a statement related to the topic and content, make dialogues and hear the specific information of it, etc. Speaking: ​ Discuss a topic with the entire class, brainstorming, role plays, likes and dislikes in a speaking activity, jigsaw games, describing pictures or sports, etc. Writing:​ descriptions, short texts about pieces of news related to the contents, daily routines about healthy food and habits, comparisons about healthy and unhealthy food, etc.

Assesment: ­ The teacher will monitor, guide, observe and check the students’ work. ­ She will assess and facilitate her help for the students. ­ The teacher will motivate them and facilitate the students tools to develop their work.
