I then took the computer to digitze my forms. After drawing the letterforms, I scanned them into the computer. I made an effort maintain some sort of human form when creating the letters. The one thing I wanted to keep was the heads of each person involved with making the form.
I needed a lot of help from other people when it came time to create my letterforms. The “D” was made by me standing straight to create the stem. Another student was facing me with an arched back to create the arch. The “A” was much easier to create, however I still needed the assistance of another student. We simply extened arms to create the cross bar and lift our other arms with our hands meeting at the top to form the apex. The “N” was the trickiest letterform to create. I needed two other students to help create the full shape of a capital N. I stood facing another student as we created the two vertical lines. Between us was another student who was slanted and being supported by me, as the left vertical line.
