My thesis work covers an exploration of the invisible energy fields, relating to architecture itself and daily common problems as well. Working with a deep analyzing attitude towards the spatially perceiving and experiencing human being, besides explore the auditive and psychological aspects and effects of the architectural space. The interaction between sound and architecture methodizes several configurations, which are presented in different intepretations, through the cognitive-explorative path.

The design of a responsive spatial structure on the Danube area of Budapest. The aim is to reconnect the river to the city with different types of floating adaptations as well as to find a new opportunity to let the river become a public urban space with the presentation of deployable structures on the water. Previously arisen attributes, namely, the temporary using, the adaptation to the urban area and more solutions are all part of the constructions leading to the creation of valuable social events.

15

The location of the event is not static but been organized in a network of floating objects on the Danube. One of them is mobile, so the aim of the performance is composed as a journey. The starting point is located alongside the Margaret bridge, where a portal is created for mentally and emotionally preparing the visitors for the experience.

The one story building follows the geometry of the property line, which creates a court in the center of the site. The architectural concept is based on the idea of motivate the homeless people to socialize with each other and start to live a desirable life again. Accordingly, the community and private areas are designed with the aim of architectural balance.

There are three different types of living modules, the daily - a large common space to sleep - the monthly accomodation - rental apartments - and the third that has more comfortable private space for the already employed.

The center is located in a suburban area, next to the Roman Amphitheatre ruins, on a hillside. The concept was to create a portal for the amphitheatre area, which is incorporated in a folding-like structure, adapted to its sloping environment.

The architectural concept was to create with the idea of determining the visitor’s route through the building till the amphitheatre. The center is approachable from South, entering on a ramp, continouing into two kind of interior side by side, where the exhibition and the lounge take place. The exit

facade torso Location: Sopron, Hungary | Project year 2013 The cityscape of Sopron is still a unique treasure with its two thousand years of architecture history. Sadly many parts are demolished with the exception of a few inconspicous elements that are still noticeable on the facades. In the 17th century a large conflagration did a huge damage to the gothic style buildings. The elements of the facade were walled up and the renovation was progressed in baroque style. During the II. World War, Sopron was damaged by several bombs and these hidden gothic elements

54

appeared again by the crashed down facades.

The historic preservation focused on renovating with keeping the original medieval window openings. Nowadays if one visits Sopron, one definitely discovers this conventional atmosphere among the hidden stories of the oldtown.

The aim of the project was to introduce the hidden gothic elements of facade in torso sculptures made of gypsum. Especially, I focused on the narrow gothic style openings hidden behind the baroque style facades.

55

The story of the buildings is continuously changing throughout the ages, yet this whole progress can be reviewed in the present by observing the current status of the city. The gypsum sculptures were intended to visually describe the spaces of the oldtown and the urban atmosphere including historic values.

3D projection | roman ruins Location: Sopron, Hungary | Project year: 2014 I have a stong interest in other aspects of understanding architectural space. I took part in the creation of audio-visual perfomances with a deep experimental approach. This projection took place at an ancient Roman environment in Sopron. The mapping projection was based on three differently angled surface of the place, including two sides of the medieval bailey and the Roman house ruins.

An event was organized to open this isolated property to the public for a day, with interactive programs that shed light on the potential values of the area. In order to find the atmosphere visually more impressive, we organized a projection on its facade, in an analog way with an overhead projector reflecting the mesmerizing floating of ink and oil.

The aim of the camp is to establish a community, which they become a valid part of and active members afterwards. During the camp it is a tradition to build a pavilion together, as a common area, where events, workshops are organized, with a video projecting during the evenings.
