PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE CORGAN DATA CENTERS LOCATION | WORKFLOW |

West End, Dallas TX Revit Lumion Photoshop

Corgan is one of top Data Center firms in the world and I was able to gain experience from early design to final completion of large scale projects. Typically Data Centers have fast turnaround times so working on fast track projects is not uncommon. These are some of the projects in which I took part of design process and did renderings for.

Cyrus One, New Jersey

This is a three-story addition to an existing data center. Both the exterior shot on the previous page and this interior scene were used in marketing ventures. This interior rendering was submitted to The International Design Awards in 2018.

Harvard, Cambridge MA 3rd Year, Spring 2016 Drama Center for the Arts Meliti Dikeos Revit Rhino Photoshop

The Loeb Drama center is located near Harvard Square. With an aging facility designed in the 1950’s, the objective for this project was to build a new addition to the existing theatre space. The new addition was heavily impacted by the surrounding context within the conceptual phase. The sites location saw the building being approached more often by the Cambridge city center. Due to this, the form of the building was designed to activate the circulation and create an interaction between theatre and the outside environment. Exposing movement while creating a clear path within the interior became the catalyst to achieve these goals.

The form allows for the building to have interaction with the sidewalk and road that pass by. The main entrance is pushed out while the building slopes up to emphasize a large multiuse dance room. This form sits on top of the old theatre.

Malden, MA 4th Year, Spring 2017 Business Park Mark Pasnik Rhino Grasshopper

Photoshop

This six week endeavour was meant to be an exercise to create a well thought out facade design that could give depth to a building elevation. The design consists of a panel system that runs along a tray-like structure. The panels can have different forms and materiality depending on the locations, context, or region. The program that this system is applied to is a business park in Malden, MA.

West Roxbury, MA

This location in West Roxbury is home to a deep jazz history that carries on today. This project focuses on giving this history a place to reveal itself while also providing a venue for festivals and markets. Utilizing tactical urbanism in a way to allow these things to happen on one street was the challenge.

The solution was to transform the street with a non-permanent installation that used its typology to allow multiple uses at once. Through the site forces that impact the street and the direction of potential users the orientation of the materiality and the tectonics of the system were established. Davenport St.
