The school year at the University of Denver is divided into fall, winter, spring and summer quarters. Each quarter lasts 10 weeks plus a week for finals. Primary recruiting takes place during the fall, winter and spring quarters.

The Colorado Business School Career Fair, typically held at Empower Field at Mile High, is a collaborative effort between the business schools at the University of Denver, the University of Colorado - Denver, and Colorado State University. All 13 business schools in the Colorado/Wyoming region are invited to attend.

GLOBAL DIVERSITY

Hiring international students can be a great way to expand your recruitment of bright, diverse talent. International students can bring global perspective and knowledge to your organization that is sure to be beneficial in today’s ever-changing business environment. Daniels Career Services works closely with students and employers to ensure an easy hiring process.

Students on F-1 and J-1 visas can be hired and paid for internships that are part of their curriculum.

After graduating, foreign students (depending on their degree) can work for 12–36 months without the need for a sponsorship.

DANIELS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Daniels Professional Development Program (DPDP) is a required component of the Daniels core curriculum for all undergraduate business students. It’s designed to help students master critical business skills through engaging experiences in and out of the classroom, and to give students the tools they need to succeed in today’s business world. By completing DPDP, students home in on their career readiness through developing a deep understanding of professional skills, ethical practices and clear interpersonal communication.
