WELCOME TO DANIELS

There is no better place to learn business than the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. The vitality of Denver is exhilarating. The beauty of the mountains is visible from campus. The intersection of the business community and business education is stimulating. And our passion for education is evident.

CURRICULAR AND COCURRICULAR INNOVATION

A Daniels education is an active education. Hands-on projects help real companies solve real problems. Many internships earn paychecks and also offer course credit. Case competitions build business acumen and offer lucrative prize money. Students can manage a portfolio of live investments and serve as consultants to actual companies and nonprofits.

A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE

Daniels is the eighth oldest business school in the country—and one of the first to prioritize ethics. The public good is built into everything we do, from individual classes to a minor in business ethics and legal studies. Our courses arm students with the newest Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies and artificial intelligence tools—and teach them how to ethically use these innovations.

BUSINESS CONNECTIONS AT HOME AND ABROAD

Faculty business connections build unmatched educational experiences. Finance students can take a literal “Walk Down Wall Street” that personally introduces them to influential business leaders. All Daniels undergrads are also required to look at business through a global, multicultural lens, be it through our renowned study abroad programs, an international business class or an internship in another country. Our students return with skills employers crave and meaningful personal experiences.

SUPPORT FOR INTERNSHIPS AND CAREERS

Our graduates are set up for success because Daniels students get access to a dedicated team of academic and career advisors. Plus, all students go through the Daniels Professional Development Program, a required series of courses to help students format a resume, write a cover letter and prepare for a job interview.

PRIDE IN A DANIELS EDUCATION

Our community of teachers, scholars and business leaders are fulfilled by the exceptional education we provide. We have a culture of celebrating student accomplishment. Most of all, we enjoy seeing what our students do after graduation, when they use the lessons they learned at Daniels to better our world.

We are proud of what we do. We are proud of what our students do. And we would be proud to welcome you to Daniels.

THE DANIELS DIFFERENCE

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Experiential learning is a fundamental part of our engaging business curriculum. Whether it’s in our small classes or numerous case competitions, students have abundant opportunities to discover their strengths, identify areas for improvement and meet face to face with real business executives. Your classes place a high priority on ethical decision making, helping you build personal and authentic skills that will serve you throughout your career.

From your first day on campus, the Daniels Professional Development Program prepares you for postgrad success. Required classes help you create a polished resume, write a targeted cover letter, prepare for an interview and design a professional LinkedIn page.

A certification in Microsoft Office distinguishes you in the job market, giving you a competitive hiring advantage, no matter the industry.

MARKET-READY FOR TODAY, JOB-READY FOR THE FUTURE

In today’s rapidly changing marketplace, organizations want leaders who are creative and know how to analyze situations and act on ideas.

Through our classes and extracurricular offerings, students learn the communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills that employers are looking for.

Daniels students become masters in cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain and cryptocurrency through our Fourth Industrial Revolution course.

At Daniels, your degree not only gives you skills you can take into the marketplace that are applicable today, it also prepares you for future jobs by developing and applying business strategies.

LEADERSHIP AND LEGACY

Graduating from Daniels is the beginning of a lifelong relationship. We are here to support you as a business leader, provide educational opportunities and partner with you for your success.

LIFELONG CONNECTIONS
