3D Modeling, Family Creation

As a learning process, the 3D model of Daniel Libeskin’s MICX in Belgium was developed. The exercise consisted of completely modeling the building based on the plans and general material of the project, with a focus on modeling the structure and details of a specific space.

The chosen space was one of the auditoriums, from which not only its volumetry was obtained, but also a unique family of furniture that was designed for the project, that was modeled creating the family.

The project that was modeled in 3D in Revit and later rendered with the integrated engine of the program.

Part of the development of the exercise was to choose two images that would be compared with the final render.

One of the selected sections was the façade with the set of materials and curvatures, so that after finishing the modeling, and with the rendering of the REVIT program, the comparison that can be seen in these images could be generated.

Additionally, one of the main auditoriums was selected, the result of which can be seen on the following pages.
