Other than the width and concave, every skateboard is 7 plys of north american maple (ya, ya P2 does not count). The 8th ply is a medium that introduces personality by giving each board a design and aesthetic. The 8th ply is a unique medium because it is the only art medium that is created to destroy. Even tho all skateboards are the same, the 8th Ply is what separates the fresh from the hesh. Over the past decade Soup Design Group has had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest and best skateboard companies . The 8th Ply is an overview of some of that work. Enjoy.
