LOUNGE AFTERNOON TEA
2018
NO 1 Poultry Introducing a more experiential way of understanding flavours and the provenance of ingredients, this afternoon tea lounge uses food as the key element to encourage a slower pace and more informed dining and socialising experience in one of the busiest areas - the City of London. Based on the top floor in the iconic postmodern building No 1 Poultry - a contested and somewhat forgotten site which is now reaching the age of the ‘m11illennial’ generation, finally coming into its own and now being revitalised through food.

PLAN OF POSTMODERN AFETRNOON T E A L O U N G E
The interior was Inspired and followed by the Geomatric and mathematic phylothephy that James stirling used in this building. Insert a new shape and create the spaces by the circle and hexagon shapes. Played as 2 galleries and 3 smell stops.
Seasonal Ingredients display area: preview the seasonal ingredients chosen by the restaurant and get your interests before you going to taste food in the galleries. Here you will learn about the story that food and ingredients wanna tell you . You will see their colors, know where they are from , what they will be after they go into the kitchen and what textures they will have. It’s a space to show the identity of the food.
Using colour as the main material, the lounge is organised through a multi sensory approach using smell, taste and tactility to navigate throughout the entire interior space at No 1 Poultry. The postmodern style has been further enhanced by respecting James Stirling’s (the architect) mathematical geometric principles that he applied when designing the building (1997) which has now been incorporated into the interior. Historically the City of London’s main function involved trading of food, ingredients which allowed for a rich and diverse culture; this particular afternoon tea lounge will play host to a social space and place for discovery that will take you on a flavour sensation journey activating the space and connecting you to the original function of this area - food. https://vimeo.com/277817214

STUDIO FASHION
2017
Fashion Studio CONCEPT Whole space is basicly white with different textures and textiles which can be designed and built by the designers who worked in the studio.Because of the functions, the space was separated by three parts, one is the public, contails waiting area and showing room.one is half public and half private, contains Alexa's office, commercial office, meeting area, kitchen and toilet. The last part is belonging to design development which is in the back of the whole space, the designers' working space is just next to three directors and workshops to make sure they can communicate directly and quickly. The shape of the A FRAME is the most diiferent structures compare to the other space. The simble for a fashion studio is very important,so the design was reflect the A FRAME shape,to make the whole space more conceptual.

Highlight the overlap
It is obvious to see the structure of the A FRAME when people first enter the studio. The frames are not on the same line, several layers can be seen at the same time to make the space looks like explosion.

TEXTILE LIBRARY
2016
Masa Textile Library Architects: Slowstudio architects Address: No.88 Yuzhang Road, Hangzhou, China Material: Wood, Concrete Completion: 2016 Area: 1400 sqm Client: Masatex The client, a textile trader, required a flexible layout where clients, designers and brands could explore and exchange ideas in a 1400 sqm space. In this project, slowstudio investigates the concept of globalization and information technology which have blurred the lines between everyday life and work. As a result, the designers present the multi-functional work-space as a solution to facilitate both individual and interdisciplinary work, support a broad spectrum of production methods, and encourage people. The overall design fulfils a comprehensive set of programs -where offices, storage, exhibitions and workshops come together to promote productivity, creativity and effectiveness.
