Create a text box using the Type Tool T key Select a font that is thick in nature to ensure that the photo being placed in it will be visible After selecting the font type desired word

Go to File Place A dialog box will pop up Select the desired image to be used Click anywhere on the artboard to place it
It is possible to use more than one image If necessary resize the image Select it and use the Scale tool S key Hold down the Shift key to maintain proportions Drag cursor to desired size

Make sure the text is placed on top To ensure this select the text then go to Object Arrange Bring to Front Now drag the text on the image

Position the text on the image making sure all the letters are completely on it Also position the text to the portion of the image s you want visible

Make sure all text and all images are selected Use the Selection Tool V key and drag the cursor over them Once selected blue boxes will appear around them

With the text and image s selected go to Object Clipping Mask Make

Now you have your chosen image s in your text
